It has been a dream of mine to see Hanson in EPCOT. Love Hanson. Love Disney. I have been researching, but what I can't find are personal experiences. If you've been lucky enough to see Hanson in EPCOT, what was you experience like? Tips to share?

Thanks in advance. Hopefully I'll see you at the show in 2016!

OH, me! This will actually be the first year that I won't be seeing them since they started playing Eat to the Beat. :( I typically book our fall trip around their dates, but wasn't able to snag vacation time until early December this time! Last year was really nice because the concerts were offered as a FP+ (tier 1) and I booked them for us for 2/3 days. Both times we got in line around 5pm for the 5:30pm set and were front row. I don't think a lot of people knew it was an option because when a CM came around to scan our bands, the line practically emptied (and it was LONG). We did that for nights one and three. Night two I was going solo so I opted to just wait in stand-by. I got in line around 3:50pm and was in the second row. I think it helped a bit that I was alone. Some people camp in line almost as soon as the WS opens, but the masses really started to line up at 4pm. Also, each set is separate and the theater empties completely between sets. I love seeing my favorite band in my favorite place! Have fun! :goodvibes

Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

We went last year accidentally. They were just starting when we walked by and stood there watching. My SIL's SIL is a huge fan so SIL talked to a cast member and they escorted me, her, and my mom down to the empty handicap row (Mom's in a scooter).

Probably not the most relevant experience for you OP but it was pretty cool!

I went last year and it was great! The shows aren't very long - only 30-45 minutes and they don't play MMMBop every show. If you want to be up front I imagine you have to show up very early. I got a FP instead, so I was able to show up only about 30 minutes beforehand. The FP seating is pretty good. It's more off to the right of the stage and not up front, but it's close enough to be able to see everything.

I'm hoping to go back again this year. Maybe I'll see you there :)

If you don't want to spend time in line or want to use the dining package or FP+ reservation, you can hear the music from pretty much anywhere near the American pavilion.

A few times we managed to snag wristbands from the chase lounge but most years my sister and I would just do stand by though in recent years between all the reserved seating it's really getting limited

Also a friend told me FPs for Hanson, Cook, and BIIMen sold out the day they went up just FYI

We haven't sat down and watched the show but we have stopped while walking by and watched it. It was pretty neat. Neither my wife are Hanson fans but it was still pretty neat to see and watching from behind everyone sitting wasn't a bad view.

I was there last November with my husband, his mother - who was in a scooter, and my two young children (4 and 2). I was the only die hard Hanson fan so I was able to negotiate us attending one of the shows. We ended up seeing the middle show on that Tuesday night (November 10). I knew my kids weren't going to be able to wait in line so we showed up right after it started. We were able to snag a handicap seat near the back. Even though I wasn't front row, I still had a good time. The show was really short and it seemed like there were fans there willing to wait and attend all of the shows (seems like Hanson acknowledged that fact at some point during the show). It looked like just about every seat was full so I would plan on getting a FP or waiting in line for a while. There was plenty of room to at least stand in the back, however.

Music was great. They played several from their Shout it Out album. They didn't play Mmmbop during the set I watched. They also played a Jackson 5 song and Look at You from Middle of Nowhere. I wished I could have stayed for the last show, but that was all my family was up for!

One of the great parts of Hanson being there was that they were touring the parks during the day. I kept looking for them because we were always in the same park according to their social media posts! At last, I never did see them!

Sounds awesome. Actually, since you were able to walk up and start watching it calms my main anxiety that if I don't plan properly I could miss out entirely.

Thanks for sharing :)

Last year we just happened to be walking past as they sang MmmBop :)

That's good timing

Thanks! Exactly what I was wondering.

I'm actually surprised that people sit. I've never sat at a Hanson concert before. Even in the rare case where its not General Admission, everyone stands.
Thanks for your reply. It is very reassuring!

Maybe I'll do some Hanson "stalking" too

We ended up bumping into them at the MK 2 years ago. Their social media made it seem like they were at HS though so we weren't even looking for them. There will be fans who wait in line from the moment the world showcase opens and some who will skip going inside for the first show to get closer for the second show or leave shows early to get a better spot in line for the next show. The first year I went (2012) I hung out at the back for the first show since I wasn't sure how it worked, and the area is so small for the show there really wasn't a bad spot.
