Hannah Montana tickets poll

Were you able to get Hannah Montana tickets?

  • Yes, I got them through the fan club presale

  • Yes, I got them through the regular public sale

  • Yes, I got them through both the presale and the public sale

  • Yes, I had to go through a ticket broker

  • No, I was not able to get tickets

Results are only viewable after voting.
You may want to make an option that you didn't even try for tickets. Sometimes people will vote in a poll even if it doesn't apply to them. This will help to not skew your no results. :thumbsup2

I can't find a way to edit the poll.

Please, people... this is for people who tried to get HM tickets, as it says in the first post. If you didn't even try, no need to answer the poll.

Just wanted to say for the record and since I can't vote 3 times....I was able to get my tickets and tickets for a friend(who was working that morning-who had her own pre-sale code) they weren't good seats though. So we both tried to get concert tickets the day they went on sale hoping for better seats and neither one of us got anything. So 2 votes for purchase through pre-sale and one vote for wan't able to get tickets. If we were able to have gotten better seats I would have sold them at regular price to a friend that didn't get tickets-not a fan of brokers.

I got them through the presale--4 tickets but not together. I wanted to try to get some together during the public sale and pass ours along (face value only) to friends who weren't successful. While I did have 4 tickets pop up for me on the general sale, I was too scared to purchase them because of the 4 ticket per household limit. Since the warning said any or all of your tickets could be cancelled, I didn't want to chance it. Being there, not together is better than not being there at all, right? ;)

For the purposes of this poll, you were able to get them at the presale. You wouldn't say you didn't get them, because you did. I'm just trying to find out how many people were shut out altogether. There are other threads where people report having no success at all, and I'm wondering how many people were able to get *something,* and how many were shut out. And maybe people who felt that announcing they got tickets would be "bragging" or "rubbing it in" would feel more comfortable responding to an anonymous poll.

I failed at both the presale and the public sale, both right at 10:00.

I will not buy from these ticket brokers. Ticketmaster is a big scam!!! :sad2:

I was able to get 2 tickets at the general sale at 10:00am. They are not the best seats but, they will do!:goodvibes

I was able to get 4 together better than average seats for Lexington, KY with the presale. I am splitting these with my SIL and Niece.

My daughter has been in tears for days over this concert. Is it unethical to ask if you would like to sell your tickets? If so, then I am sorry and please disregard. :)

I bought three tickets from a broker. It is a special treat for my daughters so I was not willing to be let down buy presales . For the record, I did try to buy them when they went on sale but was unsuccessful. We are going to the Oakland CA concert.

I tried at the presale but was offered nosebleed seats for an outrageous price. Didn't take those. Tried right at 12:00 when regular sale started & got lucky the first time out. Snatched those up quick!!!

Have heard that NO ONE in Minneapolis got them, so I *almost* feel guilty. I'm actually teasing the kids that I'm going to sell them!!! :lmao:

I got 4 tickets during the pre-sale for the Cincinnati show. They aren't very good seats, but that's OK, I feel lucky for being able to get them at all. They did a news story here locally about how so many families were mad they couldn't get them. During the general public sale, they sold out in 3 minutes!! It's so sad, so many disappointed fans. And I was looking at her concert schedule and that girl is BUSY!! Her concerts are so close together, I wonder how her voice is going to hold out.

I bought them for the Cinci show during the presale too. My tickets just arrived today! Imagine my surprise when the envelope wasn't sealed. Thank goodness the tickets were inside. Where are your seats? We are in section 130.

Not unethical, I can't blame you for trying. I am sorry to disappoint, but I can't give them up. I have a DD7 and DN9 very upset that the concert is sold out, they don't know yet.
I wish you tons of luck :grouphug: and sending some pixie dust your way.:tink:

I got four tickets at the general public sale for Indianapolis. They were the highest price level and in my opinion not the best seating location, I thought they would be the cheapest seats. I got these by going onto ticketmaster at exactly 10 am and continually hitting the refresh button, these finally popped up about 5 minutes after 10 so for those not on sale yet, keep trying for at least the first 15 minutes as fast as you can. I had 2 computers going at the same time. I had 4 sets of friends trying at the same time and only one of them got through for tickets. Good luck to everyone. I know my daughter is thrilled to go. Another option for people is the ticketmaster auction site, I bid on and got HSM tickets when they were in Indianapolis for just $2 over face value and they were floor seats.

Thank you so much for understanding! And thanks for the pixie dust too! I will keep trying. :)

How about a choice for "wanted to get tickets - tickets are still available here in CA but no way am I paying that kind of money to take my 8 year old to a concert"

I wasn't successful with the pre-sale or the general sale.
I signed up DD for a "mileyworld" membership for the presale code, opened an account on ticketmaster, was on-line 1/2 hour before the tickets went on sale...refreshed, etc.
NO TICKETS AVAILABLE.
I will not pay the outrageous prices now being charged for tickets. So...unfortunately, my DD will not be seeing Hannah Montana in concert.:sad2:
