Hannah Montana for favorite tv show!

Hey everybody how are you all doing? As for me? I'm super, thanks for asking! Haha, anyways I'm writing this post because I thought this would be the perfect place to get Miley's fans behind her and get Hannah Montana to win favorite tv show on the Kids Choice Awards! I saw her movie in 3d and i thought it was so awesome! Miley is nominated alongside Drake and Josh, iCarly, and Suite Life of Zack and Cody. I think Miley so deserves to win because she worked so hard this past year, and her fans love her! I talked to marypops! and onetreehill and they both said they'd watch this year. It comes on March 29th at 8pm on Nick and is hosted by Jack Black again! I love him, I think he's the perfect host. I think the Kid's Choice Awards is one of the worst award shows.
Because it's KIDS who are voting.
And they don't vote because of how good the actors are, or how good the story for the show is. They vote on how much they like the person/show because they just like it, or because they want to be "cool".
That's not why anyone should get an award.

I also honestly don't understand why people like Hannah Montana.
She is an insult to Disney...
All her songs sound the same
All her songs are about mostly the same things
Her show is COMPLETELY fake, and yet young girls are STILL stupid enough to believe that everyone should act the way the people in that show do.
Why can't she get those teeth fixed? We all know she has the money...
She has no talent, comparing her to somone like Bjork, is like comparing the Queen to a pile of homeless person.
Comparing her to Britney Spears is crap. Sure she's insane NOW, but how about 8 years ago?

I love Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, and Jason Earles.

I hate Miley. So. Friggin. Much.

She can't act.

She can't sing.

Only really got a part on the show cuz of her dad.

Her songs are bad. They all sound the same, all about same things.

I only watch the show for Emily, Mitchel (YAY!!) and Jason. Without them, this show would be a piece of crud (and THAT'S a nice word right there!)

I'd vote for either Suite Life of Zack and Cody or Drake and Josh. REAL shows. (Or, at least, GOOD ones!)

Everyone's entitled to their opinion! But I have to disagree with you because what other awards show is there besides the teen choice awards (which is basically the same concept) that is specifically catered to kids? There's the Oscars, the Emmys, the Grammys..can you say, BORING! The show is meant for kids to choose their favorites, and it's meant to be fun! This awards show isn't all stuffy and serious like the other ones, and all the celebrities involved are there for the KIDS, young people account for a majority of their success, so why shouldn't they give back by letting the kids out there know that they appreciate their support! And as for Miley, I think she's amazing for being so young and acheiving so much success. There will always be teen pop celebs, so might as well enjoy it right?

I really think if Walt knew what was going on, he'd be tossing and turning in his grave. He'd be proud of some things his company has done, but some things like the Disney Channel, would probably just make him want to cry.

Emily is SOOO adorable! I'm sad you don't like Miley but it's ok! Did you check out the website and the other nominees? Maybe Miley will get slimed! Hehe, do you guys plan on watching the Kids Choice Awards? They come in March 29th on Nick! I wonder who will be performing live?

Why do kids need award shows anyways? Aren't they played at 9:00-ish. Because that's a little late for a child. If I was a parent, I wouldn't let my child watch that. But I would also raise them on some real cartoons, and shows. You know, those ones called The Brady Bunch, The Adam's Family, Transformers, and everything that they used to play on TVO and Disney when I was a child.

Why does it all have to be so negative? I don't know about you, but I have never been able to sit through a broadcast of the Oscars, Emmys, or Grammys. I do recognize that those shows are meant to celebrate the acheivements of entertainers that have done stellar work, but for once out of ALL the millions of award shows out there, I want to see something that kids can watch and enjoy. It might not be your taste, but why hate on it and not want other people to enjoy it for themselves. I am merely just trying to let you all know about this really fun show for kids, where kids can vote on what THEY like. More often than not, kids are overlooked because they're just kids right? Well, instead of letting all these 80 yr old men in the entertainment industry pick winners that most people don't care about, why not let kids have their OWN award show where they can see their favorite celebrities let loose, get slimed, and have fun! Different strokes for different folks is what I say! Everyone tune in on March 29th to see Jack Black host, and celebrities get slimed! And check out the nominees at nick.com/shows/specials/kca/ Let's all forget about the drama, and focus on the goodiness!

Um, yeah, not all Academy members are 80 year old men. A lot of them are very respected people who have done many things for the film industry.

I just checked out each section, and I think this award show just seems to be the epitome of everything I hate about today's kid shows.

The Oscars recognize movies that require some real good acting and stunning effects/makeup.
