Handy Manny at Playhouse breakfast?

Just curious....does anyone know if Handy Manny is going to be at the Playhouse Disney meals? I heard a rumor that he was going to be "phased in"...but wasn't sure if it was actually true. Does anyone know what characters are there? Are JoJo and Goliath still there (even though their show is gone? lol!)

I believe the reports are that Handy Manny replaced Goliath last month. All other characters are the same.

When we were there 2 weeks ago Goliath was still there. But the characters are there now only for breakfast, no longer lunch.

Really they don't do Character lunch anymore...my son loved that character meal. Thank goodness I have a breakfast this year instead of lunch. My husband was telling me to move it to lunch but now I'm keeping it for breakfast b/c its one of his meals he requested.

Last Thursday JoJo, Handy Manny, June and Leo were at the Hollywood and Vine breakfast. I gotta say this was THE best character meal we did. Small crowds and HUGE character interaction. They also did a line dance with singing and dancing!

Can you or anyone else confirm that they are only doing breakfast and not lunch? I just checked the Disney site, and they list the characters as June, Leo, Handy Manny, and JoJo for both breakfast and lunch. I'm pretty sure they are still doing lunch. If you try to make a res for a character meal at lunch time, it pops up as an option.

Hmmm...Goliath was retired last month (several photo confirmations of that), so not sure how he was there 2 weeks ago? Also, how do you know characters were not present at lunch? Did you see a sign that mentioned that, or, did you ask?

I booked our ADR's two weeks ago for Sept and spoke with a rep, they stated that Lunch is a Character meal, I asked why the online reservations said it was not and they said it was an error.

I went ahead and booked lunch for Sept, if we go and there are not characters there I will be highly disapointed.

Online ADR page does say that characters are present during lunch, so not sure what this is referring to? I checked again a few days ago when I saw this post, and it definitely says that characters are present for both breakfast and lunch.
