Hiya,

Our son Matthew is only just getting in to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny on television (he is nearly 6 but has special needs, and up til now really hasn't 'got it' on telly at all).

Is there anywhere in either park that we could see Handy Manny or anything to do with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse?

Thanks in advance,
Rach xx

Hi, yes you'll see both in the Playhouse Disney show in the Studios :thumbsup2 Also includes Little Einstiens and Tigger and Pooh. It's a great wee show :goodvibes

I'm sure he'll love it - great show for littlies. My DD2 loves all things Disney Junior - apart from Oso for some reason! :confused3

I agree with the others, the Disney junior show is lovely for little ones and my two loved it during our last trip. I'm actually a little worried that they're going to be too old for it this time as it was nice to chill out in there for a bit and rest my feet whilst they were kept amused!

Perhaps as Oso is the most rubbish secret agent EVER! :rotfl: My two love it, I just don't get it! :confused3

Urgh don't get me started :lmao:. That music used to just give me a headache but it seems to have changed now and he has two 'friends' who seem as useless as him :confused3.

Fortunately he is not in the Disney Playhouse show (or wasn't when we last saw it!).

I can't decide if DD1 will enjoy this at 7 - think I might get her Daddy to take her elsewhere and I'll just take DD2 in.

We were really disappointed at this last year as the show was stopped as the house was due to appear as there was a malfunction. We didn't get a chance to see it again. This year though :cool1:

We saw it the year before and it was great, there are some bits where there are bangs and they release foil leaves which none of the kids really found frightening and they all gathered them up but worth mentioning in case this could be an issue. It was more a fun thing but every kid is different and it may be worth having a word with a cast member in advance if you think it could be a problem.

Thanks all! I am *so* excited to show Matthew this show now. I've never seen it; I saw it when it was the television studio thing but nothing was ever actually happening and I didn't really get it. Last time we went we tried to take him in but he got really upset so this time, because we can actually say "shall we go and watch Handy Manny" or whatever, we might get him in there!! If we go early on in our stay he'll have the chance to go back as many times as he wants if he really enjoys it.

Marvellous!!

<doing a very happy dance right now>

Thanks again,
Rachel xx
P.S. Thanks for the heads up on the leaves thing ;-)

I shudder when I think how poor that TV studio attraction was. The only good bit was Cyber Space mountain at the end. It was just a shame you had to go through the studio to get to it!

Stitch Live and the Playhouse Disney show are a much better use of the space. My son loves them both.

I'd completely forgotten about the interactive bit at the end!! I remember that!

I love love love Stitch Live...totally my favourite attraction in both parks! So far I haven't managed to get my son in there. He has no clue what it is so it isn't that he's scared of it. I just don't think he can handle the sitting and waiting when he can't physically see the pay off at the end.

We will try this time!!!!

I am hoping this time we will actually get to see it!
