Handmade Autograph Books from Wood

Here are two autograph books I made for DD4 and DS2. The front and back covers are made of wood.

The "2009" logo on the front which I thought came out pretty cool:

I made about 40 inside pages. I was going for a "rough" look, something similar to prelims in animation or sketches in comic book art.

Here are some samples which I thought came out pretty good.

The covers are made from plywood I had around (if I make anymore I'll make them out of Cherry wood so they'll come out much nicer). Each cover is actually several pieces (the cover itself, the border, the logo and the 2009 logo) and I used several tools to make them (from table saw to delicate carving tools).
