Which would you recommend? I don't know too much about either at US. My mother is meeting us & requires handicapped parking. Should she follow signs for HC parking & park in the garage or use valet? From what I'm reading, there's the difference in price...valet is $18 plus tip & the garage is $11, right? Which is closer & less walking for her? Is there handicapped parking close to Citywalk or the parks that's not in the garage? Thanks.

As far as I know....all handicapped parking is in the garage. Valet is definately a lot closer, but its definately more expensive. If someone has an AP that you can borrow, they get it for half price. Really works wonders at the end of a long day.

i have the handicap placard and the places designated for them are at the end nearest the doors/elevators

you need to show the attendant in the street that is directing traffic the placard so you are in the correct lane for handicap.

valet is closer parking.
what you bypass is the moving sidewalk coming out of the garage.

interesting that the handicapped parking isn't closer than the valet option....if you want to walk less due to a disability, you really have to pay quite a bit more. unfortunately, the news that i was expecting. I'll tell her the options....I should tell her to buy an AP now that she's a FLA resident! Thanks for your help.

Just a hint, you dont have to be a FL resident to buy an AP. I know several people from the UK who take several trips that have one. What, you thought it was like disney?:goodvibes
