Hi Everyone,

Just called MS today to book our stay at BCV with the in-laws next year. We are going with my BIL who is paralyzed. I requested a handicapped accessible 2 bedroom villa.

My question is ...Does anyone know if all the Handicapped Accessible rooms are located on the bottom floor. I hate to be on the bottom floor but would gladly do it for BIL.

I was just wondering?
Thanks in advance,
Lisa

I would guess that the HC rooms can be on the upper floors also since they have elevators. At least they are at BWV. OKW is a different story. Only 3 buildings have elevators. I was told by the CM at the check in at OKW that they would not put me (using a ECV) on the upper floors at OKW because of fire regs. I haven't figured this out yet.
We will be at BCV in November with a HC 1 BR. So we will get the answer at that time.

Request Room 348, it's a lock off studio but it is handicap, if you can get the 1 bedroom that connects to it your all set.

It's a pool view with a huge patio with a roll out to the patio and room plenty for a wheelchair, it's the round patio turret on the right if you are looking up from the pool.

The 1 bedroom would be toward your right if looking out to the pool, I don't remember the room number, but we stayed in 348 as a studio.

The shower is a roll in for a wheel chair.

Let me know if you have any other questions, also the room was right off the elevator on the 3rd floor, a great view and good room for handicap.

Thanks BillM & RayJay,

Now I have some idea of what to expect next year I think I will request that room RayJay.
BillM, I understand your quandry the upper floors at BWV & BCV but not OKW huh. I don't get it either.

Thank You Both,
Lisa
