On our trip to the Magic Kingdom, we hope to leave during the heat of the afternoon and come back in the evening for more fun. While we are at our hotel, we will likely swim and take showers. Will our hand stamps get washed away? What is the protocol for getting back in the park if our handstamps have been washed away?

Thanks!

We never had any problems with the ink washing off, the ink is made to with stand alot.
Do they hand stamp any more? I know with my AP and the tickets where you can park hop you do not need to have a hand stamp any longer. Do they require the stamp for the non-hopper tickets?

They don't do handstamps anymore because of the biometric system.

Right -- no more handstamps at the parks -- although I think the water parks and DQ still do.

In 45 years of trips to Disneyland and WDW, I have never had a hand-stamp be "washed away" or "sweated away" enough to matter.

We've gone swimming, and taken showers but even the next day, the flourescent ink is still visable.

So, if you ARE in a place (not the 4 major parks anymore) that still uses the stamps... don't "sweat" it. :goodvibes

Technically not correct but you would get a handstamp when leaving the water park also (if hand stamps are still in use) and most likely you would not have any problem re-entering a theme park.

The water park handstamp would also hint that a prior handstamp could have been washed away and if the prior handstamp were not washed away the two overstruck on each other would be unreadable and you would probably be let back in without questioning.

We will not have hoppers or AP, just the base tickets. No hand stamp? :thumbsup2
