hand held game

I've been reading about Pal Mickey & he sounds so cute. I think we definetely need him for our upcoming trip. He reminded me that when we went in 2001 my DS bought a disney hand held game that different features were unlocked at several attractions. Are these still in the parks? Should we bring it back again? Will anything new happen? I believe he unlocked all the areas when we were last there. Thanks for any help.

Just bumping this up, because we have one of those games too, and would like to know if it would still get activated in the parks!

I asked about these games recently, and was told that they are still being sold, so the activation system must still be in place.

After I posted this question I saw them on a shopping website (can't remember which one, maybe giftsofalifetime.com?) and I believe they're called Magical Moments. I'm still wondering if it will do anything new this time since all the games were already unlocked. It doesn't sound like it.

If it is the same one as mine that I got last Dec., I think when you change the batteries, it locks most of the areas again.
Is it pretty small and shaped like Mickey's head? COst about $15-$16? I might have the instructions that I can check and see what it says.

There are 2 different games - one is trivia and the other is video games. Both are shaped like Mickey's head. When you change batteries it does ned to be reset, there should be directions on how to re-open the areas.
