Hampton Inn & Suites International Drive

Has anyone stayed here? Just looking for some reviews. I have procrastinated and need to book SOON! LOL! We are just looking for a clean, nice hotel for 2 days post cruise. We are wanting to go shopping and downtown Disney and of course eat..eat...eat.

Would this be a good location?

We stayed at the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista. Very close to downtown Disney. We just stayed the night we flew in. It was fine. Very clean and very Hampton Inn like. We did not use the pool or amenities.

Are you referring to the one on Universal blvd by the convention center?If that's the one then I don't have a bad thing to say about it,great location as it's in the calmer Universal blvd that parallels International Drive,so you're right near I-Drive but not right on it,plus this end of I-Drive is also the good end.Overall it's a good,clean hotel with free breakfast and you're at Sea World and Universal in 5-10 minutes and at Disney in 15.

The one that we were looking at is actually on 7448 International Drive. It looks like it is right in the middle of everything. I have never been to International Drive. Would it be hard from this location to get to Downtown Disney and The Florida Mall and shopping outlets? Or would it be easier to stay at the one near Universal?

The Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista is the one near Disney. It's on Palm Pkwy and very close to Disney property.

I'm not sure. I guess it depends what all you want to do. The Lake Buena Vista location is close to DTD but I'm not sure how far it is from shopping and other things you want to do. Sorry. I just wanted to make sure you knew that there's one closer to Disney than the one you mentioned (I had to look up to verify the street name of the LBV location). I think there are 3 Hamptons in the Orlando area.

Well its finally booked! We booked Hampton Inn & Suites Inernational Drive North. I will let you guys know how it is!!!
