We LOVED the Hamburger Mary's here! They co-sponsored the AIDS Walk float in the Pride parade one year and we had the BEST time! If it is like the one here was, it is fabulous!![]()
We like the one out in San Diego.Although I think it may have closed.

Actually, I think this one may even be better!
I was sorry to hear the one in Dallas had closed. I think it would have worked a lot better if they hadn't been in that location. That location is a "restaurant killer"
If I remember correctly, Hamburger Mary's in San Diego was very good. Not one of my "top-10 places" or anything, but still very fun and satisfying. It was the first place I ate my first/only time to California....so it holds fond memories.![]()
That spot is the kiss of death. I can't even remember what is there now - I don't think it is a restaurant, but it might be. I don't know if it is because the parking is so bad or what, but NOTHING ever survives there! What I find odd is that Gloria's has been on that corner forever, the people who work there are RUDE, and they are still open!I prefer to go to Uncle Julio's across the street.

I really think that was the appeal. It was fun! I am trying to remeber, I know we went last time but I thought it had a different name. Just not sure what it was!
Now the Hash House.....talk about good food!
I was never all that impressed with Uncle Julio's. Especially when Mia's is just a half block down the street and is SO much better. And I REALLY miss Herrera's since moving here. That was my favorite Mexican Food restaurant in Dallas.
Has anyone been? and is it amazingly cheap and glorious as the website looks?
I think they have opened near Churchstreet?
I can't post the link yet as i'm still a newbie, but its easy to find on google.
Great stuff!
quite excited now, as i havn't been to churchstreet for years and i think i just found a perfect reason for a revisit.
What's the Desser Lady???
We've already been several times! It's part of Church Street Station.
It's wonderful! I LOVE the "Buffy the Hamburger Slayer"
Scott and I were fans of the West Hollywood and Dallas Hamburger Mary's locations, so we were ecstatic that one was opening in Orlando. As an added bonus, it's right next door to "The Desser Lady"!
Excuse me, I've got to go wipe the drool out of my keyboard now . . .
