Hallway width

How wide are the hallways on the Wish? I'm gonna have a scooter and I'm concerned about blocking a hallway with the scooter if I have oncoming traffic in the hall.

Might be incorrect but I don't think you can leave a scooter in the hall. There are places to park them other than your room. I particularly noticed those places on the Wonder and Dream but not on the Wish. I didn't see any scooters in the halls on any ship.

I'm not talking about leaving a scooter in the hall. I'm talking about riding it in the hall. We will have an accessible room and I can keep a scooter in my room. I'm more concerned about having a hallway wide enough where I'm not causing a traffic jam as I'm trying to drive the scooter down the hall.

If there are housekeeping carts, strollers, food trays, wheelchairs/ECVs left in the hallways it can be tight. Room hosts will move carts for you but other guests’ leaving items out can be frustrating.

That's what I was concerned about. Especially with luggage being left out in the hallway when I'm trying to get to the room as soon as they are available for guests. Plus, the hallways that I see in these videos look very narrow as if it only has enough room for the ECV to get down the hallway with no room for anything else. Maybe they're wider than that. I really wish (no pun intended) I could see a picture or video of someone with an ECV in one of the hallways so I can get some sort of perspective.

While I can't speak as to the Wish, I've traveled on many ships, from various cruise lines, and the passageways, while narrow, are generally wide enough for a scooter and a single walking person to pass each other. Plus, there are various elevator lobbies that can be accessed to "step aside", if necessary.

We never have any trouble on the WISH or any ship with a standard scooter which is 19.5 inches wide not including the arm rests, which we never use. Now if you need the larger size it could be a challenge if there are carts in the hall. However, as was mentioned the crew will move carts as needed.

The with is one thing, the trolleys of the stateroom hosts another: often they are not parked entirely against te wall or have items sticking out. I use a rollator and had many issues on the Oct TA. Went to ge several times to jave tjem remind stateroom hosts to park against the wall so I could pass Ith my rollator. I was entirelt aft and literally xould only take aft elevators because of this

I use a rollator too, and sometimes it is frustrating and difficult to go past the carts. We are aft too. Will be on the Treasure soon! :boat:
