HalloWishes from 'Ohana?

I'm considering a dinner reservation at 'Ohana on a (probable) MNSSHP night. Is the view of the HalloWishes fireworks decent from 'Ohana? Also trying to figure out how to time the reservation so that we are hopefully done eating before the fireworks start. Does an hour and 15 minutes sounds like enough time to be seated and finish eating there? TIA!

We had a great view of them in 2016 from the restaurant. Our ADR was at 8:45 PM and we asked for a table with a fireworks view. Since it was late, they were able (and happy) to give us what we wanted and seated us next to the windows overlooking the pool and the castle. The show was at 10:00 and started in between our meal and dessert.

It was perfect and I would recommend doing the same—get a later ADR time and tell them you want a fireworks view when you check in.

I wouldn't count on having a table near the windows. The last time we ate there (in Dec. 2017), the meal took about 90 minutes from checking in, being seated (they were running on time that night), to eating and getting our bill. As PP noted, I would make the reservation about 2 hours prior to the fireworks, eat and then go outside to see the fireworks.

At best you may be able to see some of the fireworks. You will not see any of the projections on the castle.

Projections are a big feature of Happily Ever After, but Hallowishes, not so much.

All MK fireworks shows are best viewed in the park, obviously, but if you no interest in purchasing MNSSHP tickets, the best way IMO to see Hallowishes is from Ohana. Tables that overlook the volcano pool have the best view in the restaurant. That is where you want to be seated if you want to see MK fireworks.

Have fun, OP! :)

We were at MNSSHP last year and while not as many projections as HEA, there still were a lot.

Thank you! :) I would love to do MNSSHP again; DH and I did it without the kids in 2016 but this trip we won't be able to swing the tickets for all 5 of us. So I figured 'Ohana is at least better than nothing.
