Hallowishes... behind the castle??

Has anyone watched Hallowishes from behind the castle? Is it really worth fighting the crowd on Main Street to see them from in front of the castle, or is behind still an ok view? We used to watch Wishes over by the entrance of Under the Sea and liked the 360* view... just wondering if this is similar.

The crowds are very different during the party than they are on a regular night. Way less people and generally calmer. I've always been able to find a great spot 15 minutes before the start in the hub.

That said, I have also watched them from Fantasyland and they were still very good. Same thing as Wishes - you will miss some of the design elements of the show since it's meant to be viewed in front of the castle, but if that's fine with you then it's still a great show. There are also perimeter shots that you will probably miss back by Little Mermaid, but can see most of near the carousel.

I've watched Hallowishes from all over the park depending on my plans for the night (usually determined by waiting for a specific character) and it's always a good show.

"Happily Ever After "is the new "regular" fireworks show at MK.

I think it's worth it to watch Hallowishes from the hub. They have a great panormaic effect that you'll totally miss from the other side.

We actually refuse to watch Hallowishes from anywhere BUT behind the castle. We have watched from the front, once, and just find behind that much better.

We love Hallowishes and the Christmas fireworks from behind the castle there intge big space around the carousel. The fireworks are going off all around you! Great!!!

Love watching from behind the castle. Also have enjoyed watching from Tomorrowland between the speedway and space mountain.
