I KNOWWWW !!! Hopefully we'll see you so we can get a picture in as well !

How were the lines for the rides ? Were they long wait during MTOTP?

When I went we were able to ride Screamin with a 4-5 minute wait. They got us on rather quickly. The same went for TOT and Soarin over CA. The only long line I saw was for Toy Story Mania (I'm assuming because it's still fairly new). The wait time was 40 minutes the whole night and we had to skip it. :( The other rides had very short lines. :goodvibes

Nope, they don't have fastpasses. There wasn't really a need because the lines were short and moved quickly. :) TSMM doesn't have fastpass machines yet. I was told by a CM that it was because it was new (same with Nemo). I hope they do add fastpass machines in the future. :yay:

I'm going on the 24th and my costume is Billy Ray Cyrus; mullet and all! My friend is going as Hannah Montana. :)

Is Bug's Land really closed during the party? That is my DS's favorite - and I don't want to have to tell him he can't ride Heimlich.

There is a trick or treat station back in bugs land. And I seem to remember people getting off Heimlich, but I don't remember some of the other rides operating. Although, looking at the party map, it does list "Flik's Flyers", "LadyBug Boogy", "Heimlich's Chew chew Train", and "Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies" as operating during the party. Maybe there just wasn't anyone in line and wanting to go on those attractions when we were back there. But, I do remember people getting off Heimlich.

Have a great time!

You must trust me on this, Jasmine - go on TSMM!!! I wouldn't steer you wrong! There is no FP for TSMM, but the line - whether it is 25 minutes or 40 minutes or whatever - is worth it! You will love the ride - I can tell that about you already!!! The 40 minutes (actually, I think when we got to the TSMM line, it was maybe 30 minutes) goes fast. They load fast, so you are never standing in one place for long. And once you ride it the first time, you will want to ride it again and again! I would only say it wasn't worth it to ride at that moment if the line were like 2 hours or something crazy. 40 minutes is not bad, but we rode it three times last weekend, and I think our longest wait was about 35 minutes. The other two times we waited maybe 25 minutes, and one of those times was only because the ride broke down while we were in line. You will not be sorry you rode it! Forget that it says 40 minutes or 45 minutes or whatever, and just hop in the line!

My friend who went to DLR in July kept avoiding TSMM because of the line all day long - she was expecting short lines, for some reason - and when she finally forced herself to get in the line and on the ride, it was her and her son's favorite ride of all time! They got right on it a second time and then the park closed or they would have ridden it a third time! Don't think about the wait - the line will move fast. Just think about how fun TSMM is going to be!

Thanks Sherry! I will definitely do it !! I promise. My only thing is, if I wait in line will I miss out on the Halloween fun ? I think I'm just over thinking everything because its tomorrow !!

That's exactly how I feel, Jasmine! I want to go on TSMM so bad, but I don't want to miss out on the party waiting in lines!!! :headache:

I'm sad Grizzly Rapids is closed- LOL! We rode it last time we were at CA in December and the cold didn't phase us one bit! But i guess they don't want people getting their costumes drenched?

Oh well... Guess I'll do ToT, the new Toy Story ride, and whatever the kids want to do...

TODAY IS THE DAY !!!

I'm sooo excited :) I can't wait to see all of you DISers decked out in your Halloween gear, I know I will be !!! WOOOO !!!  :thumbsup2   :lmao: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Everyone have a great time. Will be thinking of you. I still have a little less than 2 weeks to go!!!!

wazowskiLOVER: Sherry is right. It will be worth your time to wait in line for TSMM. It is one of your favorites. Will probably head on over there first thing. Besides you can use the time to warm up your firing arming arm, especially, the upper arm and elbow area:laughing: .

I am glad someone agrees with me! And honestly, I didn't think the lines for TSMM were bad. Lines for HMH were worse. Given the fact that the TSMM ride is brand new and SUPER fun, I would have expected the line to be much longer or slower. But they keep it moving quickly by loading the vehicles quickly. It is well-worth a 30-45 minute wait, and sometimes it is not even 30 minutes. Anyone who goes on it wants to get on it again and again, so if one waits until the last minute to ride it like my friend did in July, they won't be able to!!! Now, the Nemo line - that is a different story entirely, and there was a whole separate thread on whether that is worth it or not...

The TOTP was fun, but for me, a little went a long way. We didn't need to stay for the whole 4 hours to enjoy it, nor did we have to hit every single treat station or every photo station, and we could certainly spare 30 or 40 minutes to ride TSMM. But other folks may have different plans for their TOTP experience - especially if you have kids with you!:) :)
