Can I ask you guys all a question about the Trick or Treat party on this thread (I am not adding myself yet)? I know this sounds unheard of and terribly un-Halloween like, but does anyone ever attend the TOT Party dressed in regular clothes and NOT in costume? I just wonder. Rather than get a regular park hopper which would banish us from DCA at 6:00 p.m., I thought I would maybe use my one-day/one-park tickets (which I already have) on October 3 for DL and then get a TOT party ticket so we can go into DCA for a few hours that night. So it is really more about having the option to go into DCA at night and see some of the extra Halloween stuff, but not necessarily about dressing up and doing all of that. I don't know that I could get my friend to dress up even if I did!

So I just wonder if we will look totally out of place if we go in to the TOT party and do not have costumes on. Surely, there has to be SOME other people who aren't dressed up? We could probably always grab a mask or wacky hat while we are in DL and just throw that on to not look completely out of the spirit! But let me know so I will be prepared before-hand!

Our group is wearing matching t-shirts from a design I asked rumblytumbly to make on post # one on this thread " Mickeyls Trick or Treat Disneyland 2008 " :woohoo:

...and no you dont have to dress up.

So no crazy headgear or masks for you? Okay, well, I feel better now, in case we do decide to pursue that option. I had a feeling that probably a lot of familes decide to go to the TOT party at the last minute, like when they are already at DLR, and are not prepared for costumes and such. So I assumed there had to be some of us lurking around without get-ups! It very well may be that we don't decide until much closer to the day or ON the actual day (if there are any tickets left). I am trying to change the weekend we are going when the hotel has an opening, so I don't want to buy any TOT party tickets yet until I know for sure what dates we will be there.

Thanks for the input, Disneegrl4eva! I appreciate it.

I am on the West Coast. I am TRYING to stay up to see the U.S. march in to the stadium - that is always a cool moment at any Olympics. A lot of big names on the U.S. team this year - in tennis and in basketball, for example. I am sleepy, but I wonder if this Chinese system of counting out strokes to spell the names will mean that the U.S. comes in any earlier than they normally would in the old alphabetical system.
