Halloween

How are the crowds at WDW around halloween???Is that a busy time at WDW???Thanks

we try to go every year for Halloween, two years ago when we went the crowds were low, but we went to MNSSHP on Halloween night, and it was soooooooo crowded all we wanted to do was leave!!! So just don't do it that night...if you plan on doing it at all. We are going iOctober 23rd -Nov 3rd this year for a magical gathering....we can't wait!!!

I went to WDW during dec and I am planning to go Oct 20-26 for our 1st MNNSHP. I love disney and Halloween. How will the crowds be then? Ican't go earlier bc the Jewish holidays are the beg of Oct.
The airline prices are good, but I didn't decide on a hotel.
I can't wait. Does anyone have any advice?I'll be alone with my 2 kids.

It's busy, but do-able and enjoyable. We attended MNSSHP Halloween night.
MUCH less crowded than Universal Studios Halloween Horror Night the sold out night we were there.
If you decide to attend October 31 MNSSHP, buy the tickets as soon as they are available. They sell out fast and sell high on Ebay later.

Does the MNSSHP schedule stay consistent year to year, does anyone know? We'd like to do a quick 4-day trip in early-mid October, doing one of the weekday parties but I'd hate to plan for a certain Tuesday, for example and find it's moved. When will the schedule be announced, do you think? Is my guess that the earlier parties are less crowded a good one? Thanks for any assistance!

Like another poster we went during Halloween in 2003. We were there 10/30-11/8. Other than the sold-out 10/31 MNSSHP the crowds were non-existent. We very rarely used FP, and most rides only had a 10-15 min stand-by time at best. Many were only 5 or so minutes. Even in the middle of the afternoon Test Track only had a 20 min standby line, so it was really quiet. The sold-out MNSSHP was a different story. We've now done a sold-out 10/31 party and a very empty 10/1 party and it was a world of difference. I will only go at the beginning of the month for MNSSHP now.

The MNSSHP differ slightly each year. However, the schedule will be released sometime in early May late April most likely.
