Halloween?

Has anyone cruised on Halloween? Are there special events onboard? Trick or Treating?

Yes there is trick or treating as well as Halloween costume contests They really go all out for Halloween, it is a fun time to cruise.

We went on a Halloween cruise in 2000. There was a trick-or-treating scavenger hunt where you were given clues to direct you to a place on board to collect candy. The cast members were all dressed up as dalmations. We carved pumpkins at Cataway Cay. Also, the WDW MK has a seperate-ticket Halloween party called Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween Party that is really fun and also includes trick-or-treating. (This is held several times before Halloween). We liked it enough to book ourselves on the 4 day cruise this Halloween too.

my dh and i love halloween! there are so many great things to do in orlando during this holliday! do you have young kids? if so, then the mickeys not so scary halloween party would be alot of fun.... for them. my hubby and i went this past year (we dont have kids) and the best thing i can say about it was that you can ride most of the rides with no wait! something for older kids of all ages is the haunted horrors nights at universal studios and islands of adventures. this was really fun, most of their rides are open and they had 6 or 7 haunted houses. lots of fun. if you plan on doing this, wait until the last min to buy your event tickets, they seem to have the best prices at the last min. i am sure there are lots of other stuff to do, just depending on your time and budget.

oh, my dh and i are also going on the oct 31 cruise this year! cant wait hope to see you there!
