Halloween

Hi

I'm planning our 1st trip to fort for oct 2015! Please can you tell me about Halloween.
Should we do mnsshp on Halloween or diff day and spend Halloween at fort. What happens? My kids are aged 3,5,11,16

Do the Halloween party it's great, we do it every year. We get dressed up and go trick or treating.

We were there for Halloween 2011. We decided to stay at the Fort on Halloween night and watch the golf cart parade, go trick-or-treating at the campsites, and attend the campfire/movie that night. Then we went to MNSSHP party on 11/1. We loved MNSSHP (especially the parade!), but overall, we thought the Fort activities were really excellent, too, and we were so glad we stuck around for them. That year, the pet costume parade was 2 days before Halloween, and it was a lot of fun; the site decorating contest and pumpkin decorating contest were the day before Halloween. Have fun on your trip!

2) Halloween at the Fort is great

. . . decorated campsites and rv's
. . . costumes EVERYWHERE

What other free Halloween-related activities go on during the month of October? we will be there from the 19th to the 26th.. Mainly just looking at the decorations, I'm guessing?
