We have been to Mickey's not so scary Halloween 2 years ago but I have a question.
We paid to visit the park that day and never left. We did what we were supposed to do and paid the extra per person, went back through the gates with our tickets and got a orange armabnd etc. However, I noticed all these people without them. Am I wrong - you are supposed to pay for that seperate? Have they changed their policies? I realize there is no way to make everybody leave and then come back in with a ticket - but with 6 kids we paid a LOT of money and it looked like anybody at the park that day could have stayed.

Anyboby else experienced this or went last year?

Last yr for the Christmas Party they were checking people for wristbands. People were not even allowed into the shops without having the band. They had roped off areas all through the kingdom where people were checking

:) CMs were actually standing outside bathrooms last year and walking around the park asking to see tickets and then sending people who didn't have them to the gate. I think they have really cracked down. Most CMs looked at my airband. :)

They just ought to do away with the parties, or completely clear the park for 1 hour, nothing open or running so people who have done it correctly can enjoy. Bring back E-night, seemed to be less of an intrusion when this was going on. I agree, seeing others without an arm band strolling and I paid big money is not right, yeah, they can't ride, shop or pee, big deal, it clogs up the parks which is supposed to be a closed event. No more events for us, it's getting worse with non-payers.

When were were at MVMCP, there was no evidence of wristbands being checked. The entire group of people beside us during the first show of the party (in tomorrowland) had no wristbands. I don't think they even knew... the cm's sure weren't explaining what was going on. No announcements were made, and no one asked to see our wristbands the entire evening. We had long sleeves on, and they weren't visible. I actually don't know of an easy way to police this in the dark, with crowds of people...it's tough. We're going to MNSSHP and hope it's not overly crowded whether they've paid or not! :thumbsup2

We went two years ago for MNSSHP and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and this year to just the Christmas Party and both times I witnessed the cast members checking wrist bands, no matter where we were, they were also making the anouncments over the loud speaker explaining what was going on and where to purchase tickets. For the Halloween party we were just standing on the curb in front of a shop and three different cast members came up to my group asking for our wrist bands. Then we went to go in the shop, and there were two more cast members standing there who asked to see them as well. The entire night I didn not see any one with out a wrist band, and I do have to say I think they do a pretty good and quick job of clearing out the parks for these special events. I just wish that they would start the process at 6 pm so we would get the full 7 pm - when ever.
