Of course. I've also started saving up for the Holiday season.

So far for both October and December, I have a total of 62,730 so far.

OMG - I thought I was 'cool-like-that' b/c I had saved up almost 10K

If it's anything like last year, then here's my tip for the new players:

if you have 50k by halloween, then you're in fair shape
if you have 50-100k, good-great shape
close to 150k is a target to go for, giving you breathing room for emergencies

This is true if magic gets released, getting multiples of items, and also if you are saving for the holidays.

I have 38 something thousand. I have been saving up since like.. idk February? But anyway yes, i want to save up more for emergencies if cool stuff comes out. But for now, im good.


And my goal in VMK is to reach 100, thousand credits by playing pirates and other games

I have 5 kids at home - no way do I have time to rack those kinds of credits up!

Just playing 3 games on pirates double credits day today has been a huge feat

My way of saving up is by having 5 different characters just for those months. I bring them up only to get dailies and to do quests where there are credits as part of the prize. Most of the weekend quests lately have had 300 credits as part of the prize. For 5 characters, that's a total of 1500 credits each weekend.
I get all the NPC's except the ghosts and get both the music game and the monorail. That's 220 credits.

Even just doing dailies can add up. Even if you can't do the monorail, you can still get 170 credits in just a few minutes time. Start a new character today and just getting those few dailies every day will net you 10540 credits before October.

Just keep adding credits and don't use them.

but is there really THAT much to buy over the holidays or are you guys buying tons of multiples to then trade later?

we bought multiples of everything for trading just like you guessed.

each costume costs between 2000 and 2500 credits, so if your not into trading you dont need nearly as much. There are also items that come out for halloween also of different costs usually up to 1,000 credits each. Bat magic pin does have a hefty price of 10,000.
