Where is the best place to watch Halloween Parade?
Where is the best place to watch Hallowishes?
What should we do on Halloween night?

Need your expert advice!! Thanks a bunch...

Only 9 days left :cool1:

I've watched it on Main Street and in Liberty Square by Country Bear Jamboree. Although I normally LOVE watching parades on Main Street, seeing the Halloween parade in Liberty Square was better because it has better lighting. All video and photos of the Headless Horseman came out much better in Liberty Square then Main Street.

I watched Hallowishes where I normally watch WIshes, right in front of the Castle...very close to it; too close to it, IMHO. I couldn't see half of them as the castle blocked their view. If I had only been a little further back, maybe at the beginning of Main Street, near Casey's Corner, I could have seen it much better. But I would want to be in front of the Castle though because of the images projected onto the Castle.

We went last year and was right in front of the castle on the street just befoer you go into tommorrowland. We had a great view of the castle and the fireworks. The witch flew right over our heads. It was really crowded though and we got there early to save our seats. They had things for the kids on the street while we waited. They had hopscotch right in front of us. My DD loved doing that while we waited. Of Course, this was all Halloween night. We are going again this year....same night, I hope we are as lucky in finding a place. Downtown Disney is having trick-or-treating the 30th and the 31st I think. The Boardwalk also has games and stuff on the 31st too.

FYI, I was there last year too and these fireworks are quite different then last year's so being in the same spot may not guarantee a great view of the fireworks this time. I learned that the hard way this year.

No witch either. :(

What are the fireworks like then? And no WICTH? Then what do they do? Is it Tinkerbell? Or nothing? So should we go down toward Main Street? :earseek:

They are called Hallowishes now. Totally Halloween themed music and images on the castle. No witch and no Tinkerbell; nothing, unfortunately.

Here is a link to a thread with the fireworks if you want to see what they are like now. It's in the first post.

If you are too close to the castle, you will miss some of the fireworks. I learned that the hard way. I'd stand a little further back like at the beginning of Main Street near Casey's Corner.

I don't know a good spot, but I am familiar with a bad one...Liberty Square next to the Bell. We sat there on Thursday. Horrible, especially after several children in wheelchairs were literally squeezed in at the last minute by overly hurried CM's. It was not a pleasant situation for anyone involved. I especially felt sorry for the parents of the children in the chairs. They were obviously uncomfortable, and there was no way for anyone to leave to make more room for them. It felt so claustrophobic!!!
