Halloween to Christmas change over

Just trying to plan out our park days, is there much disturbance in the parks during the change over from Halloween to Christmas?
And if so what days would you expect it to impact?

None. The changeover is done after the parks close at night.

Even the Castle Ice/Dream/Frozen Lights are installed well before Halloween.

Just to add. This is usually around Jersey Week, & we think this is one of the best times of the year to go...You get the best of both worlds, plus you get the end of F&W Fest. along with low to moderate crowds, as well as great Temps. & Osbornes Spectacle of Lights usually opens that following Friday night...Huge bonus.

DizDad7, when exactly is this time? I love the F&W festival, Halloween and the Osborne lights and particularly like low crowds and not TOO hot weather (although I love the water parks also). I am from western Canada so I have no idea about Jersey week.

Osborne Lights tend to go on for the Wine&Dine Half Marathon (which is at night), then being open for the public the following evening. This year that run is November 7. Food&Wine Festival goes to November 16 this year (longer than normal, apparently). The last Halloween party, it seems, will be November 1. The first Christmas party is on November 8!

Jersey Week is when many people from NJ visit because of school breaks; it's normally the first week of November.

So from there you can figure out when the best time for you would be.

I didn't know run Disney was on.
Hmmm don't think I could do a half marathon, pity its not the 5km
Keen to get the kids to do the kids one though, shame for us it might be too early to be there
