Halloween Time at Disneyland, Oct 16-19. Lots Of Pictures! Trip Report Completed

It has been forever since I have been on the Mark Twain.

Maybe it's time for another spin. :goodvibes

After my thrilling spin around the Rivers of America, I thought I'd go ahead and check out the single rider line for Indiana Jones. The line in general was more then intimidating as I approached it, but a quick look to my left revealed that the Jungle Cruise was walk on! Quickly I made a left turn and cut of quite a few people in the process. When it comes to the Jungle Cruise, I prefer to have a male skipper, because they tend to be funnier. In the past I have had a few funny female skippers, but they were far and few between. As I approached the loading area I saw that it was a female skipper and I was rather disappointed, but I was going to give her a chance. Just as I was about to cross over the yellow safety line, I was stopped. The boat was filled and I would need to get on the next one, which had a male skipper! :woohoo:

Now, I absolutely adore all the corny jokes. The only reason I love this ride so much is because it makes me laugh. Even though, I'm usually the only one laughing. Come on people, the jokes are funny! Lighten up, have fun, laugh out loud!

Ready for some more pictures!? I know I am. You all are going to have to deal with some more blurry pictures, sorry!

Then, too soon, my cruise was over. There was nothing I was dying to do at this point, so I decided I would call my mom to let her know that I was still alive. I stopped for awhile and took a few pictures while I was on the phone with her.

At this point, I started walking toward Frontierland, and the conversation between my mom and me was quickly going downhill. We were getting into a huge debate about a certain proposition and I was trying my best to keep calm and not scare anybody around me. I continued to take a couple more pictures.

Finally I told my mom I needed to get off the phone, because I had places to be and people to see. So we said our goodbyes and I headed off toward New Orleans Square.

Up Next: Fooling a group of ladies into thinking I was a woman (it's amazing what a wig and some makeup can do!).

Hmm I live in California too can I guess which proposition? On second thought never mind. Better not. :rolleyes1

Where was the picture of the hot skipper? Or was he hot? I love your pictures.:cool1:

Yeah, you better not! I'm WAY too passionate about this one and you don't even want to get me started. I'm upset about the outcome of that proposition, but I'm sure my mom is happy.

He wasn't all that cute, but he was a guy so that made me happy enough! :goodvibes

I'm glad you like the pictures! Day 3 only has two pictures, but day 4 is gonna be picture overload!

I am sure that we are on the same side on this one then. We were very passionate about it here. We live a church stronghold and ours was the only bay area county that actually passed it. I have decided that when they take up the big fight again and I hope that they, I will be loudly involved. My teenage daughters have allienated friends over their passions over it. Sorry I am off of my soap box now.

When we went in 2007 my niece went on the Jungle Cruise while I was being sick at the hotel. She had several picture of the skipper.:goodvibes

Some of those skippers are quite attractive! :lovestruc

Too bad you were sick and couldn't see him in person! ;)

I never get a hot guy skipper on the JC.

As for the proposition in question, I am actually quite sad for my fellow Californians who voted the way they did on Tuesday. This is supposedly a progressive but laid back, melting pot kind of of a state in many ways, embracing many cultures, religions, lifestyle choices and other differences, not to mention that the entertainment industry and the adult industry are huge businesses in Southern California and are populated by many people with different lifestyles. I was POSITIVE that we had moved past certain rigid beliefs, but I guess not. I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinions and beliefs, but I was really surprised that in 2008, this was the outcome of the vote!

Off my soapbox now!:goodvibes

First congratulations on the post count!

Thank you! :goodvibes

And now okay. This is a horrible picture but it is my most recent.

I only get the hot skippers when I have someone 10x better looking then me with me.

I was POSITIVE that we had moved past certain rigid beliefs, but I guess not.

I feel the same way.

I 100% agree with you on everything you said!!!!! ::yes::

...Although, when we were taking the 'short cut' from the PPH through the GCH lobby in October, we DID see some rather fetching construction workers (only about 3 out of 20 of them were hot!) working on the new GCH vacation villas! I hope they are still there in December when I get there, and not on holiday break or something! We girls need a little eye candy every so often too!;) Men can't have all the lecherous fun!

Oh, I need to keep my eyes open for hot construction workers when I'm there next! :upsidedow

There's usually some hotties working at Big Thunder and Splash too.

Which one?

:ssst: We're not talking about it. You live in Nevada anyways, so this doesn't concern you! :snooty:

;)

No, they can't! ;)

That is what Vegas is for. :rotfl:
