Halloween question..WDW: Haunted Mansion

Hi all! I heard that the Haunted Mansion in DisneyWorld does NOT do a special Halloween overlay. Is this, in fact ,the case?

When we were there for MNSSHP they had interactive holograms, CMs working there had special outfits, the outside lighting was changed, it was very very cool.

To date, they never have for HM or Small World.
The reasons I've read is that most guests at DL tend to be local and go frequently, so if a popular ride is down for the overlay, its not a big deal.
Most of the guests at WDW are not local, and go maybe once a year. So having popular rides down for an overlay becomeds a much larger issue.
Not sure if its true, but makes sense.

That’s the reason I heard as far as no nightmare, small world and the pulling of country bears (though I’ve also heard water damage to costumes/set pieces was why the latter was cut)

Sadly, it's true! Haunted Mansion Holiday is the best version ever but I have to fly all the way across the country to get my fix! Nothing changes here.

The only thing I remember was there was a haunted carriage in front and a some other adornments throughout but no major makeover. The CM's I think were in special costume also. At DL, that's above and beyond!

Oh, I didn't know that about the holiday overlay for Living with the Land. Just Youtubed it. Cool! We're going to have to check that out this year! I love that ride.
