I'm going to Disneyland! I booked my airfare yesterday, reserved a room at the HOJO at the Entertainment rate and I'll be buying my park hoppers soon. That's the good news :).

The bad news is that the DCA Halloween event is sold out! I looked on eBay last week (before our plans were firm) and there were some tickets for about $35 each. Now the tickets are way more expensive!

So ... I thought I would put my plea out here. I need 3 tickets (although I'll take any number, less or more) for any of the 4 dates (10/27-10/30) we'll be there. I'm flying in on the 27th and out on the 31st 1AM red-eye. If you have tickets and your plans have changed please contact me. I would love to bring my 6 year old DD trick-or-treating at DCA! Meanwhile ... I'm keeping an eye on eBay. **sigh**

I just wanted to let everyone know that I picked up tickets on eBay today for the 10/28. It should be lots of fun!

Man, the WDW Halloween tickets are going for well under face value. Well, I made up for *that* on the Disneyland tickets!

I am glad you found some tickets on ebay. I had to check those prices for myself and could not believe someone payed in excess of $100 per ticket.

On second thought, I can believe it because I was offered more than $350 for my "I was there" Disneyland pin I purchased on July 17, 2005.

I didn't pay *that* much, LOL! It looks like the Saturday tickets are the hardest to get. I was thinking about the Thursday tickets, but we arrive from Wisconsin on Thursday. Between leaving the house at 5:30 AM Central Time, then drive 90 miles to the airport, two flights to LAX, 2 hours of jet lag and a visit to the La Brea tar pits I thought my DD would fall asleep in her candy bag about 30 minutes into the party. We'll take it easy on Thursday night and hope to get a park view from the Hilton for the fireworks. I was booked at the HoJo, but my DH's company is paying for the hotel and they will pay for the Hilton and not the HoJo.
