Halloween Party question

Is the Halloween party any different on the 31st than the other days they run the party?

To the best of my knowledge, the only difference is in the crowd level. The 31st sells out the fastest of any of the dates, for obvious reasons. I've heard that they load people down with candy that night at the trick-or-treat stations, but I can't verify that.

some times I think we all should live there

my only problem is I may have to go in September cause of the daycare, so was looking at the first one September 14th... so not really sure as of yet but do want to go air is only 180. if i book now lol and to stay at POP with my discount and save my points for next April Annual Birthday Trip ( now if I can find someone to bunk with to split cost I maybe able to work out the 26th ) are we sure of dates yet, I called this mornin and DVC did not have any dates yet LOL

my nov/dec trip is 28th thru the 3rd but for the 180. airfare I have to add on days before so POP it may be till I move over to VWL....

so currently between two sites, saying should I or shouldn't I

I have been numerous times and saw nothing different on the 31st than other nights although it seems like they try to get rid of the candy on the 31st because last few times I have walked away with a stroller full of candy. I do believe they have started selling more tickets every year because it has gotten busier every year since my first time back in 05.

No there isn't anything special other than you're their on "real halloween"

As for crowds:
I went 4 times and worked one at least once a week this past fall. I went to a couple in September and a couple near Halloween. The early September was crazy hot this past year O.O The Mid/End September one was just the right amount of crowds and not too hot to wear a costume. Beginning of October was pretty decent too and the last party November 1st, which seems to be the backup for people that can't go to the 31st, was really crowded. So, personally, I would shoot for Mid September-Mid October for a smaller crowd, but that's just my opinion.

If you want to go to the 31st, make sure to get your tixs early and have fun ^_^
