Hello all, we are just 2 adults, and Sunday Oct 2 will be the last night of our Honeymoon. Would you recommend the Mickey Halloween Party for newlyweds (30 somethings)?? Is it more geared towards children?

I figured that MAYBE this would be a great way to end our honeymoon, but would like first hand experiences from those who went without kids.. we like festivities and theming, but probably wouldnt go through the trouble of packing costumes since we have 12 days of clothes to pack, souvenirs, etc.

Finally, we would go Oct 2 which is a Sunday night. Should we expect the part to be PACKED with people? I assume this would be a slower night since its Sunday (locals have school the next day), and it would still be far away from Halloween.

THANKS !!!!!!!

I would definitely recomend you go. Our family, which includes 11 adults ranging in age from 30 to 70, will be there on October 2nd. It's worth gong just to see the Headless Horseman gallop down Main St. just before the parade. Everyone including the adults can trick or treat and the fireworks will be very special this year. You can come in a costume or not. My sister's and I have been to MNSSHP three or four times and we look forward to the party everytime we visit WDW in October. By the way the three of us are all over the age of 60.
Needless to say we are hoping that the crowds will not be too bad. Disney does limit the number of tickets sold for this event.

Have a Magical honeymoon,

Barbara

MNSSHP Is great event and I think you will have a great time. :goodvibes :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Go for it. I'm heading to that party on the 2nd and I want to the same party last year and it was walk-ons for pretty much everything. Sunday is a good day to go because local children will have school the next day. Remember you can get into MK earlier than the 7pm that is stated on the party tickets...past few years it has been 4pm (Disney won't tell you this, but it is one of those little known things).

We didn't wear costumes last year to the party (we were 23, 27, and 54 at the time) and did not feel out of place. I think about 50% were dressed up for the party. Make sure to check out the MNSHSP sticky atop this page for more info (especially the first page where Baloo has all the info from last years party!).
