Red icing cakes with those teeth sweets on
Pinyata...you could make one in a ghost shape etc
Ghost hunt....around the house looking for cut out pictures of ghosts/bats/ spiders with maybe prizes
Watch Casper
Dyed popcorn
Face painting...witch/vampire/monster
coloured hair-spraying...if you're really brave
Sparklers in the garden...we had them at a halloween party when i was little..was good fun

Also places like poundland are good for decorations and Baker Ross might have sets of craft things to make

I am doing a halloween party too :thumbsup2

I am goint to do apple bobbin'

make a mummy- get a whole load of cheap toilet roll and 2-3 teams - 1 is the mummy and the others have as long as you decide to make a mummy using the toilet roll. my kids love this as it involves a lot of mess.

Whats in the box? get a cardboard box and cut a hand size opening - use the flaps at the back to put something yukky inside and the kids have to guess what is it. I have done spagetti, jelly, a furry toy, your own hand - anything really as thier imaginations run wild.!

pass the parcel
with a spooky themed toy inside- and trick or treats in between layers!

i have been to asda today and got lots of things quite cheaply.

A few thoughts -

Fancy Dress competition
Buy a few pumpkins for them to make Halloween lanterns

Well I did say a few!!! :rotfl:

Hi Louise,
I have your e-mail address and I'm going to forward this week's issue of Family Fun, the online version of Disney's great magazine for families with small children. For some unexplained reason, people from outside the US can't subscribe (I think Canadians can, though. Must be a North American thing.) I forward it regularly to several friends in the UK and just this morning sent an issue with lots of Halloween party, treats, and costumes ideas. I can't put up a link because it comes directly as an e-mail (I tried hitting the Reply key but that didn't give me a workable link). Anyway, Louise, you'll get it in your e-mail. If anyone else is interested, I'd be glad to forward the Halloween issue to you if you'll send me your e-mail address in a PM.

I love this idea, it sounds like you could have a good laugh doing that :thumbsup2
