Halloween Party going to DCA?

I can't honestly see them dropping the price even if they move the parties over to DCA. My guess is that moving the party over to DCA would cost more (than keeping it in DL) because they'd have to develop new entertainment offerings (e.g., a Halloween themed WoC), add more Halloween elements to DCA (e.g., decorations), and figure out how to reconfigure the existing elements that they wanted to continue presenting to fit into DCA. On the other hand, I could see them advertising one of the party perks as exclusive access to GotG during the party...

I agree with this, it is my worry that they will continue their trend of increasing the price, fit in more people and have less attractions to spread the around

I've been to Halloween parties in both DCA and DL. I would not mind a return of the party to DCA especially if lots of people decide they aren't coming as a result! DL is too crowded, parades are far easier to see at DCA and it would be good if everyone got to see Halloween Screams. I'm sure they will decorate it well and I'd love to see Carsland done up for Halloween.

They aren't typically announced this early for DLR. WDW will probably announce soon, but it could be a while on the other coast.

Hopefully this is just a rumor but I wouldn't even consider going if it were at DCA

Same. The Halloween parties are pricey (especially when you're buying tickets for a family of six!) and if the parties weren't at DL (no Cadaver Dans on the Rivers of America?? just one example) we just wouldn't do it. I'd be so bummed. We're planning an October trip just to go to a Halloween party at DL. We might still make the trip, but definitely wouldn't pay to go to a Halloween party at DCA.

Haunted Mansion is an important part of the party experience for me, but the idea of going back to CGH after the party from DCA sounds really good, too. I am planning on going no matter which park is hosting it.

We used to go to the parties in DCA years ago and we loved them but we only paid $25 per person. Well worth if for that price, plus I love DCA. Won't be worth it if they move it and charge the same $79/$89. It would definitely have to be less for me to consider it and have some interesting additions besides WOC.
