Going on Oct 29. First time to see this(with kids) so I have no clue. Do we need to go to a special area or reserve somewhere to get a good view of this??? I mean its gonna be up in the air so anywhere in the park would be good right?? LoL

Ive been hearing people reserving a place to eat for shows but I think thats for fantasmic or WoC.... Is it the same with this? idk help!:confused::confused:

Also how long does this special fireworks last? Was thinking if its gonna be more than 20mins.... Id definitely find a place to sit and watch.

HS is not like WoC or F! where there are seating packages.

HS like any Disney Fireworks is best view from around the hub. People come early to get those best spots. However in a couple reviews about HS they didn't let people wait in the hub until the park had closed to normal guests. This prevented people from sitting a few people downto stake out a spot 3 hours early for the whole party.

The shows itself will be about 10 minutes, but you will need to stand for that plus most of the wait time. This will be well over 20 minutes.

skiingfast is right about that the CMs didn't allow any of the MHP guests in the front of SB castle until the non-MHP guests left the park. When the CMs open the front of SB castle around 8 to 8:30 most of the party guests try to claim a good spot for HS.

HS is a must see around the Hub to see the full effects of the show.

How crowded has it been getting around the hub for the fireworks? I'm going solo, and I don't really want to spend the whole party holding a spot.

On the first night for MHP, the front of the Hub in front of SB castle was already filled up around 8:45. On Tuesdays it can be less crowded than Fridays and Halloween night. I would say that it won't be as bad as the first MHP, but you could possibly get a good spot around half an hour until HS starts. It should be easy when you are by yourself.

Sorry I really dont want to sound dumb but what and where is 'the hubb' ?? :scratchin

It is where the Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue is located, the statue is called "Partners". It is at the center of the park.

Here is the Hub where the "Partners statue" is located.

You won't miss it, but also note that the "hub" includes this whole circular park around the statue, the roadway that circles it and the sidewalks out side of this. You will see all of this as you walk into the middle of the park and have a good idea of where to go later.

We showed up at 830 and sat right beside the statue. At about 845 everyone began to stand up. We had a great view and it was not terribly crowded. This was this past Tuesday.

So what time does the HS starts? Is it the same with their regular fireworks schedule?

I haven't been to DL in close to 20 years. Is there an alternative place to watch the fireworks that might not be as crowded?

At WDW we always sat in the area that is now occupied by the dessert party. It wasn't the ideal place to sit, but my parents liked to sit rather than stand.
