Halloween party, anyone? *UPDATED with names/dates!

DH and I are going on the 12th!! No costume, but I have a T shirt with Mickey as a bat, a spider, and a pumpkin (in black glitter) and a headband with a spider made out of big fake jewels!

I just found out yesterday that one of my co workers and his family will be at Disneyland and is also going to the party on the 12th!! What are the chances of that, given that we are here in Kansas City?? We are planning to meet up for a picture that night!

My DS4 and I are going on October 19! He will be Spiderman (the black one) and I was going as Alice but I don't like my costume, it hangs funny on me and looks all lumpy So I bought a renaissance style dress and I'm going to do it up as a lady-in-waiting, kind of like the bibbidi-bobbid- boutique CM's wear only with different colors.

I've been reading the Halloween Superthread and am a little nervous about crowds! Silly me; I thought the crowds would be lighter than normal

I'll keep reading the upcoming reviews. Maybe we'll rethink costumes, do something simple and just go for the rides!

We'll have to try to find each other, because that's what my group is doing too! Although, sadly, our John Darling is moving to Texas so she can no longer go. She's heartbroken and angry at the same time. She was supposed to leave late August, but it kept getting pushed back until after the party, so she was really excited that she got to go, but now it got moved up and she's gone at the end of this week.

We'll be there the 19th. Not sure about costumes yet. One DD wanted to be a wizard. But now the girls are looking at costumes online and think they need to go shopping and actually buy a costume! ergh. Whatever we do it'll have to be small and easy to pack!!!

One thought for me... get a t-shirt, write Go Ceilings! on it. I'll be a ceiling fan!!

My husband isn't sure he'll want to be seen with me if I do that. This from the guy who last year was Justin Time.

Oh, how disappointing that must be! We'll look for you - watch for us, too! We'll be carrying a backpack with an attached LGMH. And unless I'm able to work a sewing miracle (it has been known to happen), I'll be the Tink who's yanking down on the uncomfortably short skirt and up on the ever-slipping top. So much for buying a costume online! The rest of my family has homemade costumes that actually fit.

Third party tonight! For those who have gone, let us know how it was! I'd like to know if many people are wearing costumes and how the candy is this year. Last year, it was mostly junk on the night I went (they ran out of Ghirardelli the night before and hadn't replaced it), but I've heard it's better this year. I'm not really going for the candy anyway, but when you pay that much for a TOT experience it does seem like a company of Disney's stature could spring for decent stuff. I could buy almost all of what I got last year at the Dollar Tree for a buck
