Halloween or Thanksgiving

We are looking to book our next trip and was wanting to get some opinions on when would be a better time to go, around Halloween or around Thanksgiving..

Has anyone gone at Thanksgiving? Do they have any perk that allows you to have a Thanksgiving meal (turkey, stuffing....) in your room??

this is my first time at THanksgiving.

It seems likely to be much more crowded than other years....

on that basis I would suggest Halloween - you then get to do MVMCP and the wine/food festavial. Some of the Christmas decoration go up Nov 2 - so if you do a late one Oct 28 - Nov 3 - you get the best of all the holidays.

if you are staying in a dvc resorts they do have a way to order Thanksgiving meal for your room. but it is much, much cheaper to order through the local grocery store - like Publix but you need a car to go pick it up.

We went 10/7-10/16 and had the most amazing time!! I am already trying to bump our trip to next fall instead of '06. MNSSHP was unbelievable...next time we will go two nights!! It was a bit more crowded than we expected (due to hurricane reschedules) but quite manageable,
