If you had your choice would you go to WDW for Halloween or Christmas??? We don't have kids but I would like to go to WDW for both the Halloween and Christmas parties.......which should we do first?????

We've done both, 3 kids, and they're both fabulous. That said, weatherwise and crowdwise, I think we like October better.

We've done both and they are both fantastic :goodvibes. But IMO, Christmas time is the best :thumbsup2. Halloween is alot of fun, but everything.....resorts, parks, DTD....is decorated at Christmas and all the surroundings are just so festive :santa:. But both times are great times to go so you can't go wrong going either time :). Good luck deciding and happy planning :wizard:.

I'd say Halloween too because it is so much fun to dress up and even more fun to see the other people's costumes.
Also, if you plan it right you can overlap the Food and Wine Festival if you want it to...
But really, the main reason to choose Halloween for me is that I live in the woods and we get NO trick or treaters. Now that the kids are grown, the only Halloween fun we have is watching scarey movies. Christmas is a big family extravaganza, but Halloween is usually really quiet.
The weather is a bit more reliable in October, as December can be really cold or really warm or anywhere inbetween.
But face it, there is no losing answer here, both are great fun.

Be really adventurous, stay down for two weeks, and hit both. ; ) One of the last MNSSHP and one of the first MVMCP. Best of both worlds. But you would miss the other non MK christmas decorations doing that though as they may not be all up.

Both are Fab, but Halloween only really shows up at the Mk in the form of MNSSHP( which is the better of the 2 parties imho) BUT Christmas is everywhere at the world..all 4 parks, the resorts, DTD, absolutely everywhere.MVMCP is fun but to me just seems to be lacking a little something.

I have done both with my DGS. If I had a choice, and I do this year, I would choose Christmas. I think Halloween is more of a kid friendly time and the parks are decorated a little for the holiday or with a fall theme. My DH and I are going childless for the Christmas decorations this year. I think that there is just so much more to see throughout the parks and resorts and the Gingerbread House at the Grand Floridian is worth the trip. I think some of the things at Epcot are also a little more adult friendly. This is just my opinion but definitely Christmas.

I think that the general decorations and theming at Christmas is better, but I liked MNSSHP better then MVMCP.
