My favorite characters are Abu, Rafiki, and Tigger.

Hello again! Welcome to all the new comers since my last check in here!

I'm so excited we are only 87 days away from flying to LA and then onto Orlando and 98 away from our first ever cruise!! The trip seems even more real now that we finally got all of our docs from my travel agent.

I had a quick look at our pre-arrival guide and Sarah is correct Pirate Night is our Cozumel night. Is anyone planning on dressing up?

Has anyone ever mailed a postcard from Castaway Cay before? Did it take long to get to you? I'm hoping I'll be able to send one to my mum and goddaughter, they're both big Disney fans and would get a kick out of receiving one with the CC post mark.

Favourite Characters - Anything Star Wars or Marvel or Mickey for my brother and Cinderella or Jack Skellington for me though anything Disney I'll be in love with.

At the moment I don't anticipate creating a second list. We've had FE lists with 75+ rooms and not split it. On our cruise in April we had one list with about 35-40 rooms.

That could potentially be 300-400 Fe gifts to buy/make/ship? Maybe we could vote? I guess if it got to be that many 1 gift per rooom would work as opposed to one for everybody? When I signed up on the list last night (from my phone so hopefully it went through-it looked like there were only 20 staterooms on it so far?!). Could you confirm that I did get on the list correctly?

Have never mailed anything from Castaway Cay. We did mail a bunch of post cards from the post office in Hell in the Grand Caymans . They arrive. A Couple weeks after we got back.

Postcards from CC can take anywhere from a couple weeks to eternity to arrive. There have been reports of postcards sent years ago that never showed up. I don't recall seeing any arrival dates that weren't at least a couple weeks.

We are up to 15 staterooms. You are more than welcome to do one gift per stateroom if you'd like. I don't anticipate needing to split the list. Once you start splitting lists it gets confusing because some people will want to be on both lists and/or just give gifts to everyone; then you end up with just as long of lists as you started with. If we do an expensive gift or homemade gift we normally do one per stateroom. We usually put our FE gifts in our suitcase then the gifts we receive replace the ones we bring.

I agree. Once you get a bunch of staterooms, it goes from being fun to being work. Vacation is not supposed to involve work.

We are flying into Fort Lauderdale out of Seattle. Wanted to fly o Miami but could get a direct flight.

The last two times we've mailed postcards from there, they have taken 6-8 weeks. We've never had one take less that 4 weeks

We're doing the EBPC in Sept 2014 - can't wait - and no, I've never gotten on a cruise knowing someone face-to-face but have made lots of great friends on cruises.....
