We are booked on Sept 21, 2020 cruise. What are the chances this will be designated a "Halloween on the High Seas" cruise? First time sailing during September. TIA :boat:

My guess is probably will be...but it's only a guess.

Make sure you get trip insurance - that is the height of hurricane season.

You'll definitely be on a Halloween cruise. I went last year on September 10th and it was for Halloween on the High Seas. We lucked out hurricane wise. Weather was pretty good all around. It seems to be hit or miss when it comes to the candy distribution (for adults). I was expecting to get some but we did not receive any bags in our room. When I asked a castmember she was surprised we did not receive them. When I went to one of the candy distribution areas and asked for a bag so I could participate (even though I was dressed up) they said it was only meant for kids. Definitely a different vibe vs MNSSHP when it comes to adults.

Also just got an email our Sept 4th (2020) 3 night Bahamas cruise was designated HOTHS. Wasn't planning for it. Do we need to bring costumes beyond princess dresses and pirate attire?

You are probably going.to be on the Halloween cruise as they normally start in September (2nd week) to October depending where the ship is located...My favorite cruises...I always look at those dates.. love to dress up with my son!! :)

I would say pretty good! We are sailing on the Dream this year Sept. 16 and it is a Halloween cruise.
