I was just wondering if anyone purchased the Halloween celebration package for their cabin last year?

I wanted to get one, but the photos on the DCL site were teeny-tiny. You really couldn't make anything out.

I wanted to see a picture of the blanket, the pillow, and the little Halloween "tree" that I think lights up and plays music.

I could make out the door magnet and the streamers in the room though.

Anyone have pictures? Trying to decide if we want to purchase one this year. If the pillow is full sized than it would totally cover the cost. Just can't see it though.

TIA :wave2:

I'm going to bump this in hopes that someone who went last year may be checking this forum again.

Anyone? :confused3

So, they finally posted the Halloween items this year. It must have been yesterday, because when I emailed them Friday they said that they didn't have plans to offer them yet.

I STILL can't see anything in that thumbnail pic, but it looks to be the same things they listed last year.

Here's to hoping that someone will get one and post it when the sailings start. :hmghost:

Okay folks... I'm just going to ask now because I know people are already going/have gone.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? :yo-yo:

I have not bought the Halloween package but I did purchase the Birthday celebration package and I thought it was well done and I will be able to use the hanging items (they are magnetic) over and over again. The birthday package came with a really nice photo frame (8x10) and really nice.
I would imagine that for the price they are asking, that the Halloween items would be just as nice and that the blanket would be a good quality item. :)
Sorry I could not be of more help.

We bought the Halloween package last year. We received hanging decorations, a large magnet, a decorative pillow(definitely not a full size pillow) and the singing tree. I don't recall a blanket though. We also got the Frozen Experience and a blanket came with that package. My kids, ages 10, 8, 5 & 3 at the time, loved coming into the room all decorated. My son has the pillow in his room and the tree on his dresser. We are cruising on a Halloween cruise again next year and I would definitely pay for Halloween decorations again if they changed it up a bit.

Was the pillow the about the same size as the standard "when you wish upon a star" type deal already on the bed?

Yah, last year it SAID blanket, but I don't see that this year. Shoot. Thanks for the response. :hmghost:

We got it last year out of Miami. The pillow is small, but I love it. The tree was loud and kind of annoying, and I love it. The magnet is huge, and I don't even know what to do with it, but it's awesome. No blanket. I really felt like it was totally worth it. After that, on the next cruise we got the Frozen package, it came with an awesome blanket.

Got it last year too. The tree was a tad annoying but the kids loved it and then we put it in our table at home and it is now out again for this Halloween. The pillow, not full size, but a great souvenir, more for she than use in my opinion. The magnet is maybe 8x10 and very nice. The room decorations, streamers etc are awesome.

I think it is definite worth it, we loved how the cabin looked festive with the decorations. This year I think we will go with the nautical ones instead of the Halloween.

Have a great cruise!

I've ordered one for our upcoming cruise. We'll be sailing on the 3rd. Soon enough for pictures for you?

In the meantime, I found a video of the tree:

Goodness tell me how to upload a picture and I can show you room picture minus the magnet. I tried Upload a File below but it gives me an error.

You can copy & paste or drag & drop a photo from your computer directly into your post. Or use the upload a file button. One note, to do so the photo must be smaller than 1MB.

That little tree is loud! The little box on the right is candy from our TA & as mentioned the Large Magnet was on a door and not in this picture. Our grown kids liked the decorations.

Thanks so much for the picture! I'm now sold. :)

So does it work where the room is already decorated or the parents have to use the supplies to decorate the room? I dont think our Magic 2017 cruise will be Halloween for the High seas but would love to be able to buy this package

I believe the theme-specific packages are only available on those cruises that fall in that theme.

As PrincessSchmoo said you can only get for the period offered. There are other themes such as Birthday, Star Wars, Frozen so check the Gifts under your reservation. Your room is decorated when you enter so a nice surprise for the rest of your group.

I already ordered the Halloween decorations because I didn't get around to ordering the Christmas ones early enough last year and they became unavailable so I was disappointed. My daughter is going to LOVE that tree, but I am going to hate it. Maybe I can hide it before she sees it :)
