Halloween on the High Seas questions

Going on the 3 night Dream in October- and have a few questions for previous cruisers during this time.

1. We want to dress up in costumes for all the festivities, BUT thinking we may wear our pirate gear to dinner(we have late seating), then change? What time does all of the "stuff start?
2. Do they have a Halloween backdrop for the embarkation picture? I would love that!!
3. Any special desserts/drinks/etc. worth my time?
4. Is Castaway Cay decorated at all?

I think that's it for now. LOL I just went in August for a 4 night on the Dream(my second one on there), so I'm familiar with all the other stuff, just wondering how the Halloween stuff works.

It depends on the "stuff" you're referring to. There are a variety of different activities. The kids stuff is earlier in the day, the adult stuff is later in the evening (like 10:30 or so).

For our Halloween cruise, we did not have a special backdrop at embarkation. However there are other backdrops during the cruise for photos in the atrium. They also take photos in front of the pumpkin tree that come out cute.

3. Any special desserts/drinks/etc. worth my time?

We didn't go in for any of these so I can't answer this.

4. Is Castaway Cay decorated at all?

It wasn't last year.
