Halloween on the High Seas 10/31/13

Thats what I thought. Come on tell a little about yourself :-)

Who stays at WDW the days before the cruise? We will be at SSR arriving at 10/20.

Hello all...it will just be me and the hubby on this cruise. Anyone interested I getting together for drinks in skyline?

We live just two hours from port so we won't be staying at WDW before or after the cruise although I think it's an awesome idea!

We would love to meet up at Skyline if we can get our kids to go to the kids club. I think they are the only kids in the world that don't really like going! They only went for an hour or two on our last cruise so hopefully this time will be better??

Just bought a wall pocket at Ikea over the weekend and can't wait to transform it into a fish extender :)

We are back, our problem has been resolved. Our new room number is 6556. Glad to see people are posting again. We will participate in the FE but don't want to run it. We will be staying at Bay lake the 29th and 30th. Is anyone organizing a meet and greet before we sail :woohoo:

YAY!!! Welcome back!

I'd be happy to help organize FE but I'm not sure I can do meet and greet as I'll be cruising with a large group and I'm not sure what their plans are. If someone else would like to help with FE and meet/greet, it'd be great!

My wife will be contacting the cruise line tomorrow to see what room might be available for the meet and greet. Everyone wants to eat when they get on board, the rooms should be ready by 1:30, so i think 2:30 should be about right for the meet and greet, they usually have a drawing for a free spa ticket around 3:00. The lifeboat drill is at 4:00 and the departure party is at 5:00. We need to get a approximate number of people who would like to attend so that they could advise us about the size of the room we need. I will help out with meet and greet, if anyone would like to help out or has any suggestions please feel free to jump in:cool1:

I meant to ask..is anyone running the 5k on Castaway?? It will be my first ever 5k!

2:30 sounds great, count us (2) in. Last, and first time on cruise we met with some of the other FE participants at the BonVoyage Lounge, but a seperate room would be great

Definately wont runnthe 5k, walking seems to sound good and I'm thinking about it

I was never a runner either. I actually started the c25k program 7 weeks ago. Prior to that I couldn't run more then 2 minutes without having to stop. Yesterday I ran for 24 minutes straight! If your interested in running its a great app to get you started! My initial plan was to jog/walk the Castaway 5k but now I think I might be able to run the whole thing by then. Hopefully it's not too hot though!

I contacted the cruise line and they said that if we have a big group then we will have to reserve a room. if your interested in the meet and greet let me know. the location is yet to be determined. i dont think our group is that large, but we shall see.

If anyone is interested in sitting together or close together for dinning, let me know, we have done it on other Disney cruises and it was great.

Essentially, all I need is
A) Name
B) your stateroom #
C) your reservation #
D) what dining you have (Early or Late)
I will need this by least 30 Sept. because i have to contact to make arrangements with DCL.
you can post it on the Disboard, or send me a PM. Sorry I am not on Facebook.

Thanks Wayne :yay:

Hi Mousekeeters! I just wanted to say hello and see how's thing going here since I posted my message months ago. Wow, looks like more people are coming to this cruise.

As of today, 124 deaf people are coming with me so far. I don't think we'll do the FE things because of too many people (that mean more $$$ to buy supplies if participate! lol).

This is going to be my 7th Disney cruise. I'm counting days and can't wait!
