Halloween on the Boardwalk question...

I was just able to book Oct. 31st at the BWV's. MNSSHP is sold out and the Haunted Carriage ride is all filled. I haven't heard anything about "Dance the Fright Away" in DTD for this year yet. How does the "trick or treating" work at the resorts? Any suggestions that would be "Halloween- fun" for me to do with my 9 year old son?

I posted this question on the Theme parks forum and a kind poster responded that a few years ago they set up a stage with a dj for a dance party on the green. There were some characters for photos.

Did they do this last year anyone know? Hoping they will this year!

Two years ago we stayed at the BWV's over Halloween and they have lots of activities. In the center, grassy area they had a band and dancing with a lot of kids songs and then they told us that any shop that had a balloon on the outside had treats so the kids could go trick or treating. It was a lot of fun!

I was at the Boardwalk last year for Halloween and it was great. Trick or Treating, Dancing, Games, Cookie Decorating, Characters...What else do you need. It goes on for hours too.

missy2217- Do you remember about what time these festivities started? Just curious to the characters- I wonder if Robin Hood would make an appearance?
