The halloween merchandise was released today and looking at the sign on DFB, it states there is a limit of 2 of the same items per guest (Yay)

And the staff were taking zero notice of that. On other sites there were pics of people with multiple bags stuffed full of stuff.

Yep; I saw it on Twitter In a world where making money at a 9-5 often sucks, I don't mind scalpers sometimes. (10$/hr or sell some things at a markup and make 100$/hr?) but if you can afford an AP to DisneyWorld, you're not hurting for money, so why scalp that way?

Scalpers truly are the worst. They artificially drive up the price and scarcity of products that would otherwise be readily available at list price, and provide no added value whatsoever. Scalping was especially bad last year when folks were self-quarantining, had a lot of time on their hands, had stimulus checks ready to spend, and supply chains were disrupted causing actual scarcity for things like Nintendo Switches, Playstations, graphics cards, laptops, headsets, etc., anything that had an increased demand during COVID lockdown. I had to beat them at their own game by using one of their bots just to get my gf a Switch for her birthday.

Online retailers can certainly take steps to curb the practice of scalping, but I'm not sure what brick and mortar stores that except cash payment can do.

have you seen the prices of this merch.??? Holy wow! How do people pay 75$ for a sweat shirt, then expect to get more on a resale? I mean, I'm not spending $75 on anything at Disney. LOL. In fact, I watch the site for sales, buy a few things put them away and unpack them as a surprise when we go. Kids are thrilled. they have money to spend at park, and we buy treats and desserts, that's about it.
