Well, as has been mentioned they had an employee preview of HHN for us Wednesday night. I met up with a couple of us from mythos and confiscos.
I agree with the previous post on the Bill and Ted show. It was funny, but nowhere near as funny as last year's. YEs, it didn't really have a point or clear plot. I won't spoil it for those who still have hope, though. "There's no point in overacting!"
The houses...Wow! I don't know who they get to design these things, but they need their medication checked. Definitely check out Superstitions and Scary Tales, very impressive. Run was interesting, and was actually a maze. That horn's awful loud, though. Mummy can be missed.
Pitch Black really had me frazzled, though. IT is completely dark, with the exception of a strobe at the end. The walls and floors are al lwierd, and there soem really disturbing sounds. You get VERY disoriented in this one, as it has maze elements. The second half of my group didn't emerge for 10 or 15 mintues after mine.
I missed the magic show, so I can't help you on that one. We checked out the ooze zone fright club, cool concept, they just need to work on the msuic some. See, all the music at HHN is electronic dance, mostly trance. I'm still a raver at heart, and am an aspiring dj, so it makes me really happy to hear the underappreciated music I love blared in the que lines, the parade, and the main stage. I expected more of the same in ooze zone, but it was a wierd mix of breaks and poppy top 40 club type stuff. Doesn't fit in with the musical scheme set up in the park. Oh well.
WEll, gotta go. Let me know what's going on for the HHN meetup, and when!
Randy
