Hello everybody :wave2:

I'm going to be on Holiday in Orlando during October 5-19 and I'm really looking forward to Universals Halloween Horror Nights as it sounds brilliant!

Do you think I should purchase an express pass for the Halloween Horror Nights if I'm going on an 'off peak' night?

Yes...even off peak nights are pretty crowded now and I don't think you can do everything w/o an EP.

Too bad you aren't going to be there on 10/04..Macraven and I are going to meet and do the houses.

We definitely agree with Metro on this one. :thumbsup2 HHN is becoming more and more popular and if you want to see all the houses and shows in one night, we would definitely recommend the EP even on non-peak nights. We've been going since 2003 and wouldn't even think of going on a peak night now.

Thanks for the replies Metro West and Cdn Friends of Pooh! :thumbsup2

I'll definately get the express pass then. Me and my girlfriend will be staying near Universal so we may visit the Halloween Nights a few times.

Can anybody give me any information on the scare zones, what they're like ect?

Can't wait to go this is going to be so much fun!

Glad I checked on here and saw you guys booking the daytime tours. I got the Mysteries of The Midway tour for 10/5 at 2pm. Very excited!

Thanks, I'll take a look on youtube!

I watched The Thing yesterday for the first time in years to get in the spirit of things, great film! I'll have to follow it up with Texas Chainsaw, Nightmare, and some Friday 13th popcorn::

Don't forget Dead Silence

I just rented this today so I could see what it is about. DH and I will watch it tonight. Our DVD/Video store does not have any older movies like The Thing, Nightmare on Elm St, Friday the 13th- neither does our library:( I want to see them all again before we go to HHN.

Hi I'm new to all this and i LOVE Halloween Horror Nights and I just went on the site and see that you need codes with the block and the cash register. Does anybody know what those are?

The tent is michael
and the truck is 3113

THANK YOU!! How did you figure it out? I sat there for hours trying different things!

No...I'm all of a sudden spending more money than I anticipated on HHN and I don't think I can swing any tours this time around.

I just added EP's for Oct 24th. When we went in 2005 we never had to use them. Even though we bought them as we had heard the lines were horrendous. They went to waste. Lines, the longest we encountered were only 10-15 minutes. Wilma was thrashing through the night we attended. I hope adding them this year, isnt going to be a waste of money. The 25th. I will just repeat the houses I really like.

By the time I complete HHN, in Oct. I will have taken 3 trips total this year. One, to Cali in April(for Universal Hollywood, and Disneyland) One upcoming in August, to DW for 10 days. Then HHN in October. So, I know what you mean about money. I will do better in 2008. I am seriously thinking to cancel my trip to Disney for my birthday 2008 with thier horrendous, DDP changes. Just can't fall for it. I priced it out, and I am looking at around 9k, in a mod at Disney, with the new Deluxe DDP. For 13 nights. That, just will not do. Makes no sense to me at all. DL was kept up better, than Disneyworld. I could fly from Long Island, and stay at a nicer hotel than POR. Eat at Ruth Chris everynight for half that price. Guess, I will just do HHN, & Universal at RPR. Maybe another 7 night cruise in August. For my birthday. We shall see.
