Halloween Horror Nights - Is if worth it?

I am thinking about purchasing tix to HHN on October 1st and am wondering if it is worth it? Is it scary? Is it fun? Does it get really crowded even if it is really early in October. I would love to hear past experiences.

It is tons of fun, and is fairly scary (the latter depends a lot on yourself, I for one scare quite easily.)

Early October seems less crowded later in the month, but have a feeling the first weekend may be kind of crowded this year. Even crowded, the event can be loads of fun, just arrive early, or take advantage of Stay & Scream, and tour in a smart manner, and you should have no problem.

It's great, I'm going Oct 1st, and I've heard its less crowded during this time.

if you enjoy being scared and halloween in general then it's definitely worth it, as it seems to me that HHN is what many other theme parks attempt to be like, but I keep hearing that HHN is the best

i went to my first 2 hhn on the first weekend of oct.
only the saturdays were crowded for us.

the last 2 hhn i have attended have been on the second weekend of oct.
again, the saturday had the crowds more so, but eased up by 12:30.
maybe that's when the drunks left but for the houses once it was 1:00, a walk thru.


going second weekend this year for hhn.

you will like it.
each year the houses and theme change.
