Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass

this year, i'll make a sign for you to wear jodie. Screamer in blue and white coming through.......hope you don't wet your pants...
that's what friends are for

Awwww, thanks, Homie! I'd prefer a sandwich board! :goodvibes

Have any of you used EP for Halloween night, October 31st? We're either buying one for October 28th or 31st. In 2004 Halloween night was packed (obviously) and we're not sure which date to buy the EP for. We're also getting a FFP which is good for 24, 25, 28, 31 of October & November 1.

Any thoughts appreciated!

We go every year, but this is the first year we are doing non peak nights as well as peak nights. So with that being said, I would think Halloween night would be more busy than that sunday. ( Atleast I hope that is the case as we will be there on sun the 28th! lol ;) )

I know, I know..... loads of help, arent I ?

LOL :lmao:

We can't figure out what to do. We're going to be buying the EP's in a couple of weeks (once I'm paid!) so I'd better come up with an answer by then :teacher:

We're avoiding the peak nights altogether, same as last time. We've only got 11 nights in Orlando this time so need to make the most of our time there! I think I might go back next year just to go on the Simpsons ride. Sorry, going off topic :offtopic: :rotfl:

Speaking about off-topic, can I just state for the record I'm wetting myself about HHN this year due to Mr Freddy Krueger! Seriously, I've had nightmares about that dude before! He never gets me though (haw haw!) but coming face-to-face with him is going to scare the bejeezus out of me! I'm a screamer (I seriously can't help it :scared: :rotfl2:) and my friend isn't. She doesn't get scared because she's expecting people to jump out at her. I get scared because I know it's going to happen!

Silly innit?

just for the record, lynne is a screamer and wetter........

but she will have loads of fun

:rolleyes1

Oh yeah, I can't wait! It's hard to explain. It's exhilirating getting scared like that. I guess that's why people watch horror movies - for the scare. You know it's safe cos it's not real, but it assaults your senses at the same time. HHN was some of the most fun I've ever had in my life which is why I'm so looking forward to going back. I remember in 2004 walking through the Port of Entry and just seriously freaking out at what was going to happen! :rotfl2: I even had the camcorder on for my first trip through there and I actually sound like such a sissy :rotfl:

The corn field was great fun to walk through, but way scary at the same time! The houses can be less scary if you're walking through in a big conga line cos you know there's plenty of people around you, but we did a couple where it was just us and OMG! I think it was Disorientorium and the Nightmares house (CAn't remember the exact name of it - there were chainsaw guys springing everyone at the exit (Which was sooo much fun to stand and watch :lmao:). Somewhere near Jimmy Neutron IIRC.

Anyway, yes I'm a screamer - I'll admit that unashamedly! ;)

I would use a more vulgar term than 'wetting my pants', but it's a family board :thumbsup2

Too bad I'm not going on one of the nights with you Lynne. I LOVE screamers...not sure about wetters. ;) :lmao:

Not an official one but Mac and I are doing HHN on 10/04 and I'm meeting Faindrops27 later in the month...maybe the 24th...I can't remember.

homie, i know you are signed up on the hhn....homies find your dates...
thread. that is where we found others to hang with at hhn.

check the dates and see who is going when you are and either send them a pm or post on the thread to join up with someone.

when are you going?
off hand since i don't have that thread in front of me but someone is going on oct 6th. is that you?
if it is, come hang with me for some of the houses.

i met up with metro west thru the boards.

Mac, here I am again, with a question, and dont laugh or chuckle. You promise right?? Ok, so you know I am terrified of leatherface. It is just something about him. So the chainsaws, I know the chains are off of them. But, what happens if a chainless chainsaw hits the skin. Does it still cut, or does it just vibrate on the skin, as the chain is what does all the cutting?? You promised not to chuckle. Honestly I dont know the answer to this, so tell me please. I keep telling myself he is not real. But, I find myself getting more afraid of meeting him. lol . I even know how silly this sounds. But, really I am getting scared. Maybe I should not have rented Ed gein, or the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre today.:scared: Why did I do it..

no the chainsaws will not cut you.

and that is a fact.

don't worry and i did not laugh.

one year my cousin met up with me at HHN. he lives an hour away from the park.
he was terrified of the chainsaws. he has a six inch gash on his upper thigh.
he was cutting tree branches with his chain saw and his hand slipped.
he had flash backs when he saw the first chain saw.

so i talked to someone and was reassured the saws will not cut anyone.

I'm going Oct 24 ---> Nov 4th :woohoo: , on October 6th I'll be in work :sad2:

Not sure exactly which nights we'll be at HHN yet. Off-Peak nights only and most likely Halloween, though.
