I am wanting some info about halloween horror night. I read on another thread that the ticket prices are$50? THe price to get in for one day is around $60. and what is the stay and play thing? if you buy a ticket for the day can you stay for the horror night or do you still need a special ticket? All we wanted to do was go to the halloween horror night but am now trying to see what is more reasonable. Also, does someone have a list of houses and or events that take place for HHN. I am a type A personality and would like a detailed plan but am finding it hard to get specific info.
Thanks

Non-discounted ticket price for HHN is $50. Day admission is not included.

Stay & Scream is where you upgrade your day ticket to a HHN ticket and stay in a holding area after the park closes for the day. When they're ready, they'll let you go into a couple of the haunted houses before the general public gets into the park at 7:00 pm.

The haunted houses, scare zones, etc. change on a yearly basis. We have no info on this year's event yet.

When you buy your HHN ticket in advance, it's much less. My ticket last year was $38 using my annual pass (AP) discount. Others got a discount using a coupon from a local Burker King.
If you think you'll come back within the year, the best deal is to buy a Power Pass for about $120, which gives you a year of admission, with some black out dates. The pass expires a full year after you start it. That would get you into the park during the day, and give you a discount on your HHN ticket for the evening. You would do all of this over the phone, about a month before the event.
So this year you would fly down in the 3rd or 4th week of October, do both parks and HHN with your AP you pre bought over the phone. Then next year, you come back in the 1st or 2nd week and your AP is still valid.

My ticket last year was $38 using my annual pass (AP) discount.

I think you paid more. I got a FFP, but a friend of mine got his ticket in late September with an AP discount, and it was only $30 plus tax.

I paid $30 for peak ngiht admission using AP discount, and then upgraded to FF pass for about $15-16 that same night, so for the price of a FF pass, I also got a peak night.

When you upgrade in the park the day of the event, isn't the ticket a semi-decent price?

Can you purchase more than 1 HHN ticket with an AP discount? I am the only AP holder, but want to treat my big kids and nephews to HHN on 10/9 - 6 people in all. Are there any other discounts? AAA? (2 of them have this) or FAN ? (I have one of these also) - will any of you wonderful FLA DISers try and pick up some extra BK coupons when they come out?
