Halloween Horror at MGM

I've heard a lot of rumors recently that Disney is planning to hold a more adult version of their Halloween nights at MGM this fall, does anybody have more details on this. ? Will it be similar to Halloween Horror nights at Universal.

From what I've heard, no. It will feature the Disney villains. It will be more grown up than the not so scary, but it will not be a horror fest ala Universal.

Hmmm. As someone who has always had a soft spot for all the Disney Villians, I would definitely check it out. Interesting. I hope it happens!

As FL residents, and WDW and USO PAP-holders, last year we went to HHN five times; MNSSHP once. (And enjoy them both. ) Universal offers a Frequent Fear Pass for a good price.
And what do we do when we are in any park? buy, buy, buy, buy, buy
I think Disney is long overdue in a more adult themed Halloween event. But that would be hard to compete with HHN. They would have to find their own niche somewhere between HHN and MNSSHP.

That would be so much fun !! My brother is a HUGE villan fan and would love to be there. We were never able to catch the villan dining that I have heard about on these boards.

It would be nice to see something like this, not as syrupy as MNSSHP and not as out-and-out horrifying as HHN. With a 10 and a 13 year old, MNSSHP is too 'young' and HHN is just TOO MUCH.

Sounds like it could be a good in-between choice, ok for youngsters, teens and adults.

I think it's a great idea as well, but let's all remember it's a rumor at this point. my daughter is 12 and fearless, but she's not ready for HHN. Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens still tests her little nerves. we go to Not So Scary because the crowds are light and it's a fun time. something in the middle of the other events would be nice. we'll see what happens.
