Halloween Fireworks

Just out of curiosity and a little bit of hope. Since you now have to get tickets for Mickey's Trick or Treat party to see the Halloween fireworks on those certain nights, do you think they'll show the regular fireworks on the other nights, or are they going to do nothing at all those nights? I am probably still going to get tickets for TOTP cause I don't want to have to get kicked out of DL early on my birthday (happens to be a TOTP night), but it would be nice if there was something to see the other nights too. I would like to see the regular show too

I believe they'll only have the regular shows on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Wouldn't I like to know, Andrea!! No news on that front yet that I'm aware of. Have you been following the Halloween thread? I guarantee you the second that info is released you'll find it there. We're all dying to know as much as we can already.

Well I've talked to 3 different Disneyland reps and they've all told me that the regular shows will go on on the weekend nights (with the exception of Fridays) just like it would normally during off-peak season. WOC may be going everyday for a while longer than the rest of the shows though.

I'm no expert on the logistics, but is that really feasible? to go back and forth between two different fireworks shows like that? Especially going from Friday to Saturday. I'm so used to taking all news with a grain of salt, I get a little paranoid. So I wont be putting all my eggs in one basket if you know what I mean, lol. I really do hope that none MPH guests will still get fireworks. I'm not used to Halloween time stuff so I really don't know, lol.

Ah! I babble, lol.

Haha, thanks for the creepy guys Jazz!! :rotfl:

I tried reading through that Halloween thread a bit, but it's hard to go through all those pages to find the one or two questions I have. Just found it a little easier to ask myself! But one day I will go through that thread and read it all. Probably closer to the trip so I can remember most of it!

But that's good to know that regular shows will be playing on weekend nights! And I am hoping WOC will be playing every night so we don't have to worry about trying to fit it in our first night there!

I'll also be musing a lot about it on my TR. We can go crazy over it all together, lol. Since I know I'll be seeing you around :goodvibes

Of course you will see me around!

It will be fun to find it all out together! Our trips are only like a week or two apart!

Too bad they weren't at the same time. Would have been nice to officially "meet" you. I'm envious you'll be there in October though, lol.

I am a little nervous about the weekend I am going though. It's the gay days weekend. And it's not that in particular that bugs me, I am just worried about crowds a bit. And I really do hope WOC is playing all nights so our first couple days don't feel so tied down.

And it would have been nice to actually meet! Even if our trips only over lapped for like a day or something, then we could meet for a meal or something. That would have been cool!

Ahhh, but WHAT regular show? Magical or RDCT?

PLEEEEEEEEEASE be RDCT!!!!!!!:worship::worship::worship:

DisneyStitch626 - Just so you know, you don't need to go through and read the entire "Halloween at DL" super thread to get answers! I doubt anyone who is kind of new to that thread is reading the whole thing (unless they want to go back and look at all the photos). You can easily kind of just scroll through the last 2-3 pages of the thread and if you don't see anything that answers your question, then just go ahead and post the question there and someone will answer (if the information is available, that is). If you have anything that is specifically pertaining to HalloweenTime at DL, you can ask it in that thread. That's what the Halloween at DL super thread is there for! And if no one can answer the question yet, it probably means the information hasn't been released yet. All of us update over there as soon as we find out new information.

Andrea-

What ends up happening on this forum is that people see big threads and think they have to read through the whole thing in order to get information. That idea is daunting, obviously, so they end up posting separate threads. That is fine, except look at what's happened with World of Color - have you seen how many threads we have currently going that pertain to WoC? There are so many out there, and it gets really confusing because no one knows where to look for their information first and they end up starting even more threads, whereas if you have one main super thread where all the news passes through, you pretty much know you can get the info there.

In any case, nothing has been officially released about the regular fireworks yet, and as of a couple of weeks ago, the CMs didn't even know that HalloweenTime was starting on September 17th. The official HalloweenTime agenda should come out in mid-July (I'm guessing July 16th, as that is the day when tickets for Mickey's Halloween Party, as it's now called - or the MHP - goes on sale to the general public). I think they get the info after all the people on the executive/business side of things make the decisions. So, feasibly, news could easily come out on the Disney Parks Blog for all of us to read before the Cast Members ever even know what's happening. It seems like people are saying that CMs are kind of clueless with the current WoC set-up and many of them give conflicting info. But, I'm sure that what they told Jenergy is probably correct - I'm sure the regular fireworks will happen on weekends just like they would during typical off-season.

I've been to DLR on Gay Days weekend before, and it did not seem to be too crowded to me until late afternoon Saturday. After that, it was very crowded. However, last year in October, it seemed busier on the day I went than it had on Gay Days weekend the year before. This year, who knows? World of Color is the question mark here. We don't know if that will be something that really continues to pack in the crowds.
