Halloween/Fall Decor change over to Xmas decor

Hi Everyone!

I was just curious around what date DL tears down the fall decor and puts up Xmas decorations?

They start changing over on November 1st and it's usually all fully decorated for Christmas in about 10 days or so.

Nov 6 you say? Are you joining in on Dapper Days? (Either way, just FYI expect Sun Nov 6 to be very crowded.)

I would expect the holiday season to officially open the week after Veteran's Day. But they do a ton of decorating throughout the parks, so they do have to start earlier. I know when we were there the last week of October last year, we saw some bits and pieces going up around the parks. The tree went up in DTD that week as well.

We were there the first week of November last year (Nov 3-7) and they had both up! More Halloween than Christmas but it was a funny amalgam of both holidays. Sure made going on the Nightmare before Christmas Haunted Mansion fun.

LOL I just saw that yesterday, we are arriving in town on 11/6 and will likely only stroll around DTD but won't be hitting the parks officially until 11/7 so hopefully the crowds die down!

This is great news, everything I have always wanted and more, the best of both worlds!

It's super apparent with the merchandise in the shops too- Halloween and Christmas! Also, riding HM and Small world holiday in the same day.

Well, you can actually ride HMH and IASW Holiday the same day all holiday season long.
